"We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected. It was quite comfortable and surprisingly quiet (we were there midweek on a slightly rainy day). We also ate at the pub and really enjoyed our meal. We would stay again!"

"Very nice ground floor room with small patio overlooking the garden. Room was very comfortable with all the amenties that one needs, We had a good dinner with our grandkids. Breakfast buffet was good with fresh farmhouse bread etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful."

"We arrived about 6pm. We went through from the bar area to the hotel section and we’re very warmly greeted, given all the info and made to feel very welcome. The room was cosy and had good views out. The decor and particularly the bathroom needed a bit of TLC. It all worked but needed the odd bit of paint here and there and maybe new carpets in the halls. Breakfast was fantastic! Overall very good and great for the below average last minute price we paid. The location is stunning!"

"Fantastic Hotel. Easy, ample parking when we arrived (though worth noting there is a cost). All staff were very friendly and a big thanks to Duty Manager Paul who went out of his way to make our stay special as we were there celebrating my wife's birthday. "I stayed in a refurbished room which was decorated to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Check in / out was simple and quick. Sadly though, room was unbelievably hot - even with windows open and the provided fan. No shower - only a bath, which I didn't spot on booking. Made it tricky to wash hair, as bath doesn't have shower attachment or taps! "
