"This is a unique experience. It’s truly a beautiful place. Perhaps 8-10 other guests while we were there. We only spent time in the room to sleep. When we weren’t out on excursions we were sitting at the beautiful infinity pool with the most incredible view. Staff are super genuine and kind though a little young and inexperienced. It is South of the main urban and beach area of Lamai. The walk is moderate, but the hotel also offers a free shuttle (scheduled, must RSVP 2 hours in advance, did not use) and it’s easy to call a cab. "The Rock was a beautiful place. Staff was amazing and the place itself is beautiful. We stayed in the ocean front villa, which is actually three separate “rooms”. A kitchen - stove, fridge, toaster and toaster oven, kettle, etc, with place to sit to eat and a toilet. Then two separate suites for sleeping etc. We were two couples, so perfect for us.

"Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich . Es ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber reicht vollkommen aus um einfach zur Ruhe zu kommen . Das Frühstücksbuffet ist einfach gehalten .Die Lage des Hotels ist etwas abgelegen so dass man immer an Taxi sehr teuer oder andere Verkehrsmittel gebunden ist .

"Location was fantastic with restaurants, bars & shopping right at your doorstep. The rooms were very spacious & with direct pool access. The hotel is slightly outdated, but is kept clean & is well worth the stay. Would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to guests who want to be in the centre of all the action in Lamai"
