"This was a stop off from Siena to Roma and we were pleasantly surprised. It was like an oasis. we had not heard of the town Tarquinia and discovered a walled village and ancient burial sites that are amazing. One slight it says there is a private beach which they do have one but it is 5 km away. But the bar restaurant, large

and grounds make up for it. And easy parking. A good little place not far from the main Port of Rome."

"Bahia del sole was under renovation, they accommodated us at the sister property Mercure Hotel. That was a bit more updated. We had a great balcony view that overlooked the docks. Beautiful property, friendly staff as well. Very convenient. Taxi from port to hotel was reasonable."
