"Quite quirky but charming. Very helpful staff. Central but not in a noisy area of town. Some rooms have only a frosted glass screen between bedroom and bathroom, which I guess some guests might find a little too intimate. The shared kitchen is available to use, except at breakfast, so you can make drinks etc. The big fridge for drinks etc was awaiting repair - hopefully fixed by now."

"We loved the restoration of the old existing structure alongside the stunning extension to the rear. From entering the hotel there is a true welcoming check in. The decor is exquisite and provides a serene ambience. Staff are very helpful and respectful to all our requests. "Lovely hotel - we spent 5 nights there as a family of 4 to celebrate my wife’s 50th. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They gave her a personal card and made her a birthday cake and the whole staff inc the management came to our table to wish her well - it was a lovely moment. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff work tirelessly to clean and maintain throughout the day. The work ethic is very clear and you get the feeling that everyone who works there cares about...
