A very roomy clean space with easy access to downtown and all of its shopping and food. The adult pool was clean, quiet and relaxing with just enough shade for the summer extreme heat. Didn’t get to play any pickleball or tennis but the courts looked very well maintained. Spencer’s dinner was excellent.

Staff was great but the unit needs a little updating. Kitchenette didnt have a frying pan. Microwave was very challenging to figure out how to use. The shower head was horrible. Would be nice to have a toilet seat that had soft close. The air conditioning blows too hard, you can feel it all the way across the living room when it is on. This could likely be fixed by changing the fan speed. The unit just had lots of little issues that are really easy to fix.

I have stayed at this property before and had an awesome experience. After this experience, I won’t be returning. I had a 1 bedroom unit. The AC in the bedroom was extremely loud and kept me from sleeping the first night - I see others have experienced this issue here. I called the front desk in the morning and asked if they could have maintenance look at it. They never did for the 2 nights remaining. This is what really did it for me though. When I checked in I was given a map of the property to show me where my room was and also where amenities were etc. On this sheet (I still have it and would share a pic but doesn’t seem like Expedia allows), it clearly states ‘Check-out time is before 11:00 am.’ On the day was checking out, I was about to go out the door and the phone rang. I picked it up and was informed the person calling was from the front desk and that ‘it is 10:40 and checkout was at 10…why are you STILL in the room?’ I was very taken back, I said that I read it was before 11. “It is not, it was at 10!!” I explained I was leaving now and hung up. I turned to sheet on the table and there it was. I stopped into the lobby and the woman that called came to glass. I asked if she was that person and he said ‘yes’ so I placed it on the glass and asked her to read what it said. ‘OH, I guess it did say 11.’ There was no apology or anything. I’ve worked in the service industry and get the challenges on that side but this is unacceptable!

Nice hotel, but noise level is high than expected.

It is a very nice location. Facility is clean and staff are nice. We stayed for three nights. Two of them did not require air condition. But the third night was hot and and the room air conditioner was very noisy as expected. What was totally not expected is that the refrigerator was unrealistically noisy even though there was nothing in it. We ended up to have to close the door to the living room to reduce the noise. I left a note in the front desk. I hope they can repair or replace it.

Desert Vibes steeped in Hollywood history!

Updated condo in a historic setting. The neighborhood is great, the location is centrally located in the shadow of the mountain. It’s literally stunning and steeped in desert flora.

Relaxing Visit

We had a very relaxing time during our stay. The weather was warm, but the pool was close. The only problem we had was that the DVD player didn't work and we had to wait until the next day for someone to come and set it up for us. Other than that minor glitch it was great. What a low key place to relax!
