"the biggest issue is the early morning trash noise and disruption - the loudness of the lcoation on the main street made it hard to have uninteruppted sleep. Should give people noise canceling headphones or warn them"

The restaurant was delicious and a nice surprise in this sleepy town. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Took advantage of yoga which was great. The pools are very small but lots of lounges, hammocks, ping pong and a great lending library! Will definitely return to this sleepy but fabulous town! "

Breakfast was unreal, many options with the traditional breakfast and coffee was great too! "We loved our stay at Tamarindo Village Hotel. My family chose one of the rooms with a second bedroom loft. It was located at the top of the hotel on a hill. I felt like I was in the jungle, removed from the tourists of town, yet we were very close (walking distance) to shops/grocery/restaurants and the beach. "We arrived 3 hours early, but our room was ready, so we were able to check in early. The room was such a treat, I loved the large balcony. My favourite thing was to lay in the hammock and read my book. The location is great, a couple of minutes to the beach (towels, beach mats, boogie boards provided) and it’s one block off the Main Street. Good breakfast, all day coffee and water, and lovely staff. What’s not to like! "
