Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a Doubletree by Hilton
This hotel has clean rooms. The outside grounds were beautiful. The walls are a little thin, so you could hear if people were being loud. Overall, the hotel was quiet so it did not bother us much.

Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel
This was a motel style and not a hotel. There is no elevator, so be prepared to lug suitcases upstairs. To their credit, they had an awesome guy by the front desk that carried my 50 of suitcase up to my room for me. Front desk staff were awesome!
