"We had a girls birthday trip, with 5 of us. The room was decent. There was mildew and some hair in the shower when we got there. The water pressure was terrible though. Some of the soap bottles for thr shower were unglued to the wall and no handsoap anywhere. One of the towel bars was hanging off the wall, and the tub faucet was sticking out of the wall. When we checked in, we were told go to the customer service area for a welcome gift, it was a speech for staying at the resort with a hour or two timeshare presentation. The staff were FLYING by in the parking lot quite a bit and cut us off at a 4 way stop and almost hit us. Not saying all staff were rude but the ones that were around campus were oblivious when driving. We will probably stay somewhere else next visit."

"I rarely write reviews good or bad. I am in my Sixties and have probably stayed at three to four hundred hotels in my lifetime. There was not one average or below standard in our three day stay. The breakfast, those running the desk, maintenance, and housekeeping all made us feel welcome and appreciated. The breakfast rocked; sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage, scrambled eggs, along with all the staples of a continental breakfast one day, then another day was eggs, kielbasa, breakfast potatoes and again many other treats. Lemon water, and coffee always available. Pool, hot tub, workout room and relaxing area were always clean and inviting. Not a speck of dirt anywhere. All the staff were friendly and worked well together. My wife and recently graduated grandson enjoyed our stay. O and one more thing; it was the best value of any hotel I have ever stayed in."

"This is a great place to stay when visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is next to the visitor center and the busses circulating around the historical area. While we did not use many of the facilities since we are "old folks", there are a lot of things for kids to do on the property- pool, splash pad, ping pong, miniature golf. The hotel is a little dated but that is part of its charm. Some of the electronics could be improved. There is no restaurant at this hotel but the expanded continental breakfast was a nice touch. Our room was a king suite with a very comfortable bed and a separate living room. I would stay here again if I visited the area."

"The hotel was clean and superior. We were let down on the last day by having a workman bang on the door in the morning wanting access. Clearly these were contractors but the hotel should have made sure guests were not being disturbed."
