"All very good. Nice, clean rooms. Great food - dinner and breakfast, well priced drinks. Only thing I would change is the bed.. a king size would be better than a standard double."

"Stunning building, rooms a bit tired and dated but beds comfy and everything clean. Bathroom basic. For the price breakfast was good and great to have access to the pool, jacuzzi and sauna at anytime with free towels. Overall not the fanciest, most boutique place to stay (apart from the outside of the main building) but good value for the price and staff all very friendly. Grounds beautiful too. Didn't have dinner but friends did and they said food very good. Bar area also very nice."

"Great family room with separate bunk beds for the children. Brilliant breakfast and canapes and staff were great. Only downside was the hot water wasnt working very well so had coldish showers."

"Hotel nice , wouldn't say 4star for sure ! , but nice , booked king double room was quite small for the £150 a night 😧, breakfast was very nice though , had smoked haddock both mornings , nice to be able to walk along front from hotel , had side view , not sure would stay again for price"

"Staff were all very helpful and chatty which was nice, nice cooked breakfast at a decent price, allowed us to leave our car in their carpark after checking out , which was apprieciated, will be back next year, thank you marine lodge"

The Wolf Inn

"I stayed at the Wolf Inn's guest house which operated an entry system through a door code. This worked well and gave me 24/7 access to my room which was great. The room was a decent size for me but may be a little tight for two people if they have lots of luggage. I didn't see (or need to see) any staff during my stay but the room was turned daily in my absence. No breakfast facilities but available in the pub just across the road and other places nearby. There was also no on-site parking but free parking was available a couple of minutes away. I was sent a message by the hotel that clearly explained everything. The location next to Oulton Broad is lovely and there's a wonderful walk/run around the marshes less than a mile away."
