"Wonderful and clean hotel with old-world charm. The location was convenient to Odori Park, Nijo Market, the tour bus pickup point and it was located in a quiet neighborhood. The only confusion was the pick-up location at the hotel. What we thought was the front of the hotel was actually the side of the hotel so a photo sent by our driver helped."

"The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety of fresh Japanese and Western dishes and beverages. Outstanding! The public bathing area was beautiful and well-equipped. The hotel itself is clean and conveniently located to the shopping district and the train/bus station."

"The hotel was in a very convenient location and our room had a lovely view of the canal. The bed was comfy and it was quiet at night making it perfect for sleeping. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The apple juice and coffee in the lobby were nice extras."
