Disliked: Amenities
It was good enough but not excellent in any way, we are at a different koko now and it is a lot nicer, staff was cleaning all the time, and the place was decently clean not exceptional for how often we crossed f’them but no real complain on this place, just unremarkable
The hotel was very comfortable. The staff members were very kind and very supportive with the questions. If you are planning to stay a couple of days in Osaka, this hotel is perfect.
This hotel was in a great location, the staff was pleasant and easy to deal with. The only thing I would have loved more was a stronger AC unit, it was struggling to keep up with the heat wave but once it got going it was normally cool.
Simple but clean, equipped and competitive on price. Friendly reception staff. Close to Metro (Ebisucho) and the Den Den Town shopping district. Would happily stay here again for a future visit.
Spent 7 nights at this hotel and was very impressed. The hotel was clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions. It was less than a 2 minute walk from a metro station, so transport was very convenient.
Ideal place if you intend to spend the whole day out exploring (like we did) as the room we had was a little too small to hang around in all day. But this wasn’t a problem for us as we were always out and only spent the night in the hotel room.
Overall I give the place 5/5 and recommend the KOKO Hotel Osaka Namba as a great place to stay.
Although this is not the newest hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were actually quite spacious. It was a really short and convenient walk to Ebisucho Station that took us everywhere. If you’re open to walking, it was actually only a 15 minute walk to the Dotonbori. It was key for location and was easy to walk back to after a late night in Osaka. I would stay here again!
The location of the hotel was great, lots to do just on the street it was located on and easy to hop on the subway. Staff was very kind and there's lots of amenities provided. Cleanliness can use some improvement, the carpets are all stained and there's dust on the shelves. Price was good.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
I would not recommend staying here. The room had a stench that smelled like wet socks or mildew. Every time we would leave the room and come back we would smell it. I talked to the staff about it, but there was not much they could do besides turn on the air filter/purification, and that barely helped. The room was clean and the staff were nice, however, I cannot get over the smell. Do not believe the Expedia reviews, I reread the google reviews and multiple people have complained about this stench.
I love this place. It's the perfect location if you want to get the most of the Denden town, Shinsekai and Dotonbori in Osaka because its smack right in the middle. It is really close to a train station to Osaka Castle or Kyoto. Staff are really friendly and rooms are clean. My only suggestion is to add more washing machine because the ones they have in laundry is a 2 in 1 washing drying that it takes 2 hours for one cycle to finish and they only have 2 of them. Otherwise, great service and hotel! I'll be be staying again next time.
I was very surprised to see that the toilet and toilet handle were not clean, so I had to wipe them down myself... Very small with minimal space to open luggage and tiny bathroom. Carpet looked old and stained in certain places. Soundproofing was not good as we could hear the subway/train as well as neighbors and housekeeping in the morning. No water was provided in the rooms or in the lobby. Positives were that the staff members were very nice, and it was a convenient location. Aside from toilet and carpet, other areas and items looked clean. It was the cheapest option I could find in the area for 2 twin beds for Fri and Sat nights.
The location is great. Near subway station, shopping area and restaurant. As you know, hotels in Japan have limited space, so better not bringing huge suit cases.
