I loved my stay here, one of the best hotels i stayed in while in Japan.
Location is Perfect!! Beds are great, has personal Heat and Air.
Great large public bath. Is like a hot tub!!
Couldn't say enough good things about this place.
Planning on another trip in September and I am coming back to The Morning Box Hotel
Surprised at just how nice and aesthetically pleasing this hotel was. The price was affordable, breakfast was delicious and staff was very welcoming.
The amenities were also clean and tidy.
Great location. Good cafe/bar. Room was decent size and cheap. Lots of amenities available. My fault but didn’t realise the room I booked didn’t have a bathroom. Onsen was nice touch as well
This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are very attentive and wonderful. The cafe has good food, and the first and second floor dining areas are relaxing and well decorated. The bath on the 10th floor is very nice as well. This hotel is a very good option for you.
Central property. Close to Dontonburi and other shops. 30 min walk to Osaka castle. Close to subway stations. Lovely cafe/longe area at hotel. Complimentary drinks after 5.
Value for money. Convenience as next to the underground shopping street, which you can access to the metro just 1 min. Nice public bath and kitchen for cooking by yourself.
Very accommodating staff. Service is superb! Amazing and well kept facilities. I didnt understand the reason for scheduled shower hours in public bath but still, will highly recommend this hotel! :)
Nestled in the heart of Osaka's lively and bustling Shinsaibashi neighborhood, Hotel Morning Box offers a dynamic and energetic experience that immerses guests in the pulse of the city or the quiet serenity of onsen.
We were greeted by a vibrant atmosphere of greenery meets industrial. The lobby buzzes with activity, and the friendly staff welcomes you with warm hospitality, ready to assist with any inquiries or needs. Though our Japanese-speaking skills were minimal the staff were always accommodating, kindly fumbling through our attempts to verbalize.
We stayed in one of the larger room offerings featuring a
Queen mattress. The room, though compact, was thoughtfully designed to provide comfort amidst the urban hustle and bustle. Soundproof walls shield guests from noise of neighboring rooms, ensuring a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the city. Of course, one can expect some of the typical noises of a city--sirens, music from promotional vehicles, etc. The minimalist décor, accented with pops of pleasing antiques, creates a contemporary-meets-classic and inviting ambiance.
Infinite choices for bars and restaurants within walking distance or easy-to-learn subway options make for a sense-stimulating stay. Morning Box's breakfast options are convenient as well as providing options for all palettes from simple n sweet to savory and complex (e.g. the Benedict which is different from the typical American style-- features a kind of apple-based chutney with onions.)
What a lovely gem of an hotel. The great young team are eager to help, the vibe is really relaxed and the coffee shop, free flow drinks, lounge and tasty breakfasts were outstanding. Great value for money too. The rooms are simple and yet comfy and whilst mine didn't have a shower or bath (which I knew in advance) the onsen upstairs and as quiet, luxurious and even had a sauna! Would definitely stay here again.
The room may be a bit small with no shower, but the hotel makes up for it by having an onsen, a cafe on the ground floor, free afternoon drinks and a tailor made breakfast. The decor is very clean and nothing like the chain hotels that tend to look too uniform in appearance.
The staff were very friendly as well
Nice and comfortable. Very convenient to train and shops. Bathroom is shared which may not be for all. If this is ok, then you will enjoy the hot tub and refreshing shower.
Location is good, decoration is nice. Enjoyed the public bath. Staff are friendly.
Though relatively new, it lacks modern features like usb plug, key card.
Air conditioning was centralized, you cannot adjust the temperature (i was on 9/F), air got quite stagnant and I ended up having the hotel window opened, then I could hear the traffic as I was facing the main street, not really problem to me though.
One thing is weird, almost every other guests were provided with pyjamas (which is convenient as you can only bath at the public bath on 10/F) but I was not provided; the hotel claimed that was because my booking was via Hotel.com. Not a BIG deal, but just weird.
