"Pool area is amazing!! Everything is great and beautiful! But just to use all the amenities it is better to stay at the main tower, not at the Lodge. I booked the room at Lodge just because I wanted to have a better view of the ocean (so I booked an ocean view). That was the only reason! To open the patio door and see the beach! My room ended up being facing the dumpster, and a tent that they have on the side of the property, the entrance of the parking lot… and I could barely see a little bit...

"I got severe bed bug bites from room 325 and had an allergic reaction from it. I told the staff and showed them the bites. The women at the desk just said sorry. I was like yah I get that but you need to treat the room. I stayed 2 days and tried to check the beds the first day but it is almost impossible with how dim the lighting is in the rooms. "The room was clean, and loved that it had a full sized refrigerator and kitchenette set up. The air would never actually go below 70 degrees, although it was set on 66 the entire week we were there. The shower pressure was non existent but there were 3 floors so I expected low pressure but it was poor. The beds were not the most comfortable either, mattress was on the thinner side. The manager there was great! She was helpful with all our additional needs!"

"We checked in by just giving the clerk at desk our name and our reservation was pulled up. Nothing else and we got a key. Usually you fill out some paperwork such as car tag number and give them our driver's license. The good thing was we got to check in earlier than 3:00 pm.
Restaurant was great. Place is old so it came with good things and a few maintenance issues. Would have been great if we had at least a coffee make in room or down in lobby.

"I want to start off by saying the service from staff members was SUPERB! Check-In was swift and simple. I was checked in within a couple of minutes. As for my room, bed was lumpy and wasn’t the best sleep I’ve had. Linens were clean though. Bathroom and sink were very clean! Room entertainment center seemed to be losing its legs due to what seems to be water damage. "My stay here was pretty good. Room was clean and nice for the price. Shower was a little broken and the water did not get very hot. A/C worked well. I got the partial oceanfront view which was great and I watched the sunrise every morning. If you book and want a full view make sure you get the oceanfront room. Not ocean view. Parking is $8 a day but free for R/V’s, trucks, buses. Front desk staff was not the friendliest. I arrived after 8. Overall it was a good find for less than $150 a night."
