"Breakfast was just OK I did not appreciate paying $10 for parking at a hotel that is in the middle of nowhere"

"The room was beautiful and newly redone, I had to call a few times because I didn’t end up checking in until almost midnight but the staff was very friendly and kind about it, they even gave me a few snacks and water bottles when I checked in so late, the staff was super nice the whole time, I will definitely recommend this hotel to others 😊👍"

"To their credit, the staff was helpful and got us a new room, but we still had to get a new room as soon as we arrived. The sheets were covered in dirt and stains; though things were tidied up, the place itself is worn down, and rugged. For the three nights we spent, it did its job when it comes to providing us a place to sleep, but other than that, it was very okay. It would not be our first choice if we came back to Arroyo Grande, probably not even on the roster. If you can afford another hotel that’s a bit more expensive, you might as well save for that one."

"The room was clean, and the front desk clerk was pleasant. This is the only good thing I can say about this hotel! It's falling apart everywhere! Walkway from one building to another is literally falling apart. Spa is broken, has nasty water and debris in it. Paint peeling and wood rot everywhere. The halls smelled like freshener over mold. Breakfast was fairly standard continental style with nasty eggs, turkey sausage, biscuits & gravy and assorted breads etc. Soda machine and water machine were out of order. Yes, it's inexpensive, but not worth the savings!"

"Upon arrival, the room had unpleasant odor and there was a noticeable amount of hair on top of the bed. I had to use disinfectant spray and perfume and ended up doing some cleaning myself. We arrived late after along trip, so we decided to keep the room. Additionally, guests with disabilities should be aware that there’s no elevator, which may make access difficult."
