"I was lucky enough to have the room in the tower (I think it’s described as the Premium Double) which was excellent. It had a private terrace with impressive views of Cádiz, and was perfectly quiet and extremely comfortable. (Just a note for those with mobility issues: the lift will take you as far as the third floor, but there’s a further flight of stairs to reach room 41 - so a different room might suit some people better)). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Casa Cánovas again if I ever return to Cádiz."

"This is a beautifully designed little hotel with a lovely rooftop terrace and a pretty sitting area past the front desk. Our room was small but cleverly apportioned, with a closet tucked in a corner and shelving under the TV. Great location on a nice quiet street, 10 minute walk from the historic city center. We loved Cadiz!"

"We really liked staying at this hostel. The room was spacious and clean. The building has lots of character, with lively open central staircase that makes everywhere nice and light. The shared kitchen and roof top garden were very useful. Staff very helpful also."
