"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for. The cleanliness stood out immediately. It is peaceful, scenic, and deeply restorative. "Family room was spacious for family of four. Decent breakfast. Parking was free. Only issue was with the automated check-in kiosk. It did not find our reservation. Had to call the support number to get the check-in code for the building and room since we arrived after hours. Their reception is not manned 24/7. "

"The staff were great from check in to check out. The location is ideal for walking everywhere, and they have large parking areas. The indoor pool is a nice touch to have when it’s late and you want to get out of your room. I forgot my adapters for my charging cable and they had them. The balcony’s in the room also smoking allowed. They also have a toy area for children which my daughter enjoyed. The restaurant is nice too, and the wait staff are very kind. Overall I will stay here again when I visit the Black Forest. "

"For the price you pay, it’s not bad. The decor may need an update, but the pictures online are true to form. My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend. "

"My wife and I decided to stay at Hotel Gasthaus Adler because we wanted to experience a quiet, classic, but not far from the black forest at all. Located between farms, it offers amazing views. Their restaurant was amazing! The food, service and atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable with a nice bathroom with lots of room. We also had a very spacious balcony were we sat and enjoy the big trees right across the street. Ths staff made it so welcoming, we felt like we were among family! We loved having stayed at Hotel Gasthaus Adler!!! "
