"Once I got over the welcome experience we enjoyed ourselves. After a long flight with 2 small children (4 and 6) we arrived to check-in and were passed to someone who was going to tell us about the resort, but it turns out this was a time-share salesman. He had outdated information about the hotel, was asking about our family income etc and eventually it came out that if we signed something and paid an "any amount" guarantee we would be expected to go to the breakfast presentation and then get a discount on some local attractions and spa. It felt extremely manipulative. Despite the rest of the day being fairly good I wouldn't go back based on this experience and will be watching out in reviews to avoid other resorts that do the same. The food was good. We only went to the ones that didn't require reservations. Service was mixed. Sometimes noone came to our table to offer drinks and other times they came and checked in multiple times. We spent most of our time between the different pools which had good sections for children. We also played lots of tennis, table tennis and mini golf. We didn't leave the resort for the whole time and didn't get bored. Our room was interesting. The pull out couch was effective for the little kids but it was old and thin. The light/fan in our bedroom appeared to be controlled by the people upstairs as it would go on late at night when we heard them come home. Overall a good trip with some strong downsides. "

"The overall resort was extremely clean and well kept. And the staff was very friendly. Some key things that could be improved upon was the fact there is a lot of stairs. I have a bad knee and that was a big factor for me. And I saw other older people struggling with them too. Especially in the main buffet area that had stairs going up to it. Seemed kind of dangerous to have to carry a glass plate of food up and down the stairs. They also need an area where you can get tea/coffee and just little snacks like muffins etc…in the morning for those who don’t want to sit for a full breakfast. Other than that, we had a great time and loved the nightly entertainment that was provided. Will definitely visit again! "

"Clean A bit far from everything "

"We just returned from an incredible stay at Paradise Village in Puerto Vallarta and couldn't be happier with our experience. The location is absolutely perfect. One of our favorite parts of the trip was waking up each morning to the stunning sight of the sun rising over the marina—the views truly can't be beaten! The facilities are top-notch and impeccably maintained; it’clear the staff takes great pride in the cleanliness of the entire resort. We also spent plenty of time enjoying the excellent amenities and lounging on the beautiful beach, which was clean and easy to access. To top it all off, the food was delicious with great variety throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a relaxing, high-quality resort, this is the place to be."

"The food was good.Nice selections,breakfast had a very nice variety of choices.Room was very clean.Bar service good.The only issue was it was difficult to get loungers by the pool.People put towels on them and nobody is using the loungers.Also there was no adult only pool ."

Would have been even better if a staff member would have taken towels away from people who used them to get chairs first thing in the morning by the pool but never showed up till late afternoon. Saw so many families looking for chairs with little kids and was unfortunate that staff didn’t monitor that. "
