"The room was lovely and had a nice view overlooking the garden and the street beyond. Further was a lovely view of the city. We didn’t get breakfast but the hotel itself was great and the staff were wonderful "

"Lovely hotel with very comfortable clean rooms with a spacious bathroom. Lots of snug areas to sit in and chill or read. Great breakfast in the morning with attentive staff. A very pleasant experience. Very central plenty of car parks around. Would definitely use again."

"The Bailbrook Lodge is a very old, traditional hotel, shabby but spotlessly clean with lovely white linen. Our en suite had a rolltop bath. Rumour has it the room next to ours is haunted but we heard no noise whatsoever during our stay. As it is pretty close to the centre of Bath we got a taxi in and out to the sights rather than take the car. Staff were very friendly and I would recommend a stay here. Only downside was the Wifi which only worked intermittantly and on the ground floor rather...

Rooms very nicely appointed with lovely additional touches (fresh milk in a flask; home baked cookies; tea and coffee with cafetiere). Hindon is a picturesque village with charming cottages and discernable outlines of the many coaching inns once there (of which the Grosvenor Arms is one). Plenty to do in the surrounding countryside.
