"I was there with a friend and my dog. The room is updated and clean. The bed was firm. I did find the fact the bathroom had a frosted glass door a bit odd, but since the bath room was in the back of the room it wasn't like you felt like they were facing the door while you were in there. Word to the wise, since the sink is outside the bathroom that's also where the toiletries like shampoo are kept so you will want to remember to grab those before you get ready for your shower. They provide you with a blanket for your dog to sleep on, and while the hotel faces a busy street behind it is a residential area and it's a short drive from a park area so plenty of places to walk your dog in. "

"The room was clean. However, we did not realize the hotel was under renovation, which was less than ideal. We were in town for a family death and needed to extend our stay. Despite being proactive and making arrangements the day before, a new staff member the next morning indicated we would need to move rooms. I am disabled and this created a great deal of stress on the day my MIL passed away. It was later rectified, but the entire ordeal was completely unnecessary. We are coming back to Calgary in 10 days and will stay at a different hotel."

"Overall I am very impressed with this place and will stay again. It’s a 25 minute easy walk to the foothills medical center at a very affordable price. The rooms are aged with a concerted effort to update. I was very pleased with the mini fridge, microwave, two burners, hood fan, sink and small dish set! They negotiated discounts with Denny’s next door and other restaurants in the area. Not with Big T’s BBQ around the corner but I highly recommend. Depending on when you arrive, Denny’s customers may fill the parking despite signs which can be frustrating but go around to the backside and there are more spots. The staff are all exceptional. The wonderful lady during the day gave me a parking pass despite arriving early so I could park and walk to the hospital. Kumar checked me in later in the evening and is absolutely lovely. The call I got when I was settled in my room to ensure everything was as expected was appreciated. This is an affordable option and folks need to understand and respect that or they may feel it’s not up to par. It’s clean, perfectly located with many dining/shopping options around, great staff, and a perfectly acceptable continental breakfast."

"Huge room . We booked the king and it had a couch and two TVs. It would be nice if there was a plug near by so I could have plugged in my Fire Stick because the channel selection is very very limited."
