I have been travelling South Asia for 3 months and Hotel Erica was by far the best hotel for low to medium budget whilst offering luxury. I extended my stay twice. Breakfast is included and very decent. The management team are exceptional & go above and beyond. If you want immediate beach access, rooftop pool with stunning views, to be central to restaurants & coffee bars then Hotel Erica is an excellent choice!

Positive - centrally located within walking distance of the beach. Lots of spas and restaurants right outside. Negative - very small rooms with dated/tatty mismatched furniture, noisy inside the building, lack of breakfast choice which was incredibly busy and no clean tables to sit. Staff not particularly friendly either. Don't be fooled by the pictures on the websites. Had booked a second night but cancelled. European chain hotel nearby much better value.

pleasant surprise

Very happy there. Spacious, decent pool, nice breakfast buffet, clean, great location nice people. The only thing was the shower in the tub. My tub was not really usable. Only a hand held with nowhere hight to hang it. But I don’t care everything else more than made up for it.

The room was lovely and clean. The reason for the bad review is we requested the front desk book us a limousine van transport to Dalat. Unfortunately the front office staff don’t speak much English and booked us something we didn’t ask for (even with our use of google translate). The reason we wanted a van to take us to our hotel in Dalat is we have quite a few bags and a small child, so didn’t want any hassle. However, we got put in a van, which took us to a bus station, where we waited in the heat with our luggage and child until we were put on a sleeper style bus to Dalat, which we are on now. I’m still unsure as to whether we will get dropped at our hotel at the other end or if we have to taxi. This is a reminder to the hotel that sometimes customers are willing to pay more for a quick hotel to hotel service, rather than a cheap option that is uncomfortable. We weren’t given any other options.

This is a 2 to 3 star and not 4. Towels smell and breakfast food is limited. Hallway and elevator dirty. I will not recommend as there are many bigger and newer hotel nearby.

Great staff! Thank you to Tien and management, I unintentionally left my passport in my hotel room. They shipped it to me at my next location, it arrived the next day at nominal cost. The rooting pool is beautiful, unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed during our stay. The beach is only a block and a half away, very convenient. My only complaint was the horrible music played throughout the hotel including the restaurant and even your hotel room, it’s on every time you return to your room as it’s on the tv which turns on automatically when you place your card in the power slot. Very annoying!

Staff was great and helpful. For what you pay it is clean and a decent breakfast. Four stars due to the caulk in the bathroom areas are peeling, the room floor could have been cleaned just a little more for I prefer to be barefoot in my room. The design on the building for room 03 and 04 balcony are bad due to being able to hear all the noise from other floors waiting for the elevators or their conversation. Would I recommend or say again? Yes!!! For the price and location. Close to walk to mart, restaurants, shops and things to do and see. Staff was very friendly. Very easy to grab a taxi or cyclo out front. Maybe get thicker window balcony doors installed, recaulk your bathrooms and a different color for your room floor or wax the floors to make look and feel cleaner.

This was my 10th hotel booking in Vietnam and overall this was the only unfriendly service in all country,the staff can be quite rude,they also hold your passport during your stay which didn’t make me feel comfortable either,the premises are just ok there’s just a huge indoor window to the corridors in which whoever passes can see you,the maids enters the room without even knocking,and the breakfast is quite disappointing…

It’s horrible experience. There are a lot of bugs. When I entered the room after check in, I saw a lot of bugs around the cups. Don’t use those cups for drinks. And I showed the staff pics and they just came to the room the catch the bugs and nothing else. Additionally, the hot is NOT 4 star! If we use the international standard, this is non-star! The furniture is old and dirty. It’s just a private hotel. The sauna is not longer exist, the swimming pool is super small and nobody there to provide service The second day, I contact Hotels.com and send them the photos and strongly request to check out and cancel the rest of my stay, BUT nobody wants to help me. Don’t not choose this hotel.

위생이 문제가 많다

가족여행 숙소였는데 청소상태가 너무 더러웠고, 2박했는데 수건도 청소도 안되있었음 요청해서 수건만 받았습니다. 부모님 방에는 하수구 냄새나고 저희방에는 실외기 소리나서 여러가지로 괴로웠습니다. 조식은 무료이지만 진짜 맛없고 컵이나 식기 위생상태가 진짜 더러움. 이 호텔은 전체적으로 위생이 문제다.
