"Firstly, the welcome from Elisa was so warm, cheerful & helpful with loads of useful advice on restaurants, booking transport etc. she genuinely wanted to ensure we had a memorable stay. The room itself was kept immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It’s not a huge room but we knew that when we booked - it’s not the price of a 5* hotel remember!! The room was in a characterful old building with probably the first lift ever installed in the world !! The location was superb as well. 5 mins from the station, 15 mins walk from the port and right next door to Bjoin - a fabulous place for brekky to kick off an active day with a full stomach ( got to try the full breakfast - legendary!). Thanks Elisa & Simone for helping make our stay on the Italian Rivieta so enjoyable!!"

"The breakfast was fresh and very good. The air conditioning did not work, seemed to be controlled by the front desk. That could be a problem in the warmer season. "

"Don’t waste your time. Good looking pics on internet. Staff their 3 hrs in afternoon to take care of issues. Sink leaked. Coffee machine worked off and on. Told staff still working off and on. Going to charge us 1.00 for each coffee cylinder We were there three night parking d $1000 for two rooms. Staff were polite but we had to keep asking for help in regards to tv and coffee machine. Had to ask for towels. Staff never went in room. "

"Convenient to both train station and ferry terminal. Clean. Quiet. Nice terrace. No kitchen. Low water pressure in the shower. Staff responded quickly when we were locked out due to the electronic lock running out of battery (suddenly, without warning). Luckily, we were not in a hurry at that moment."

"Perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre and wider region by train (only 5 minutes to central station). Friendly host shared lots of helpful information, even before our arrival. Maria gave information about places to visit and breakfast stops in the immediate area. Although located on a main street, leading straight to central predestrianised area of shops, bars and restaurants and marina, very quiet at night. The local church bell chimes at quarter past, so don't be late! 😂Room excellent, clean and well-equipped with many extras eg iron, kettle, fridge. Our only tweaks would be a firmer mattress (which is obviously a personal preference) and a couple of reusable cups/glasses/spoons available. "
