"Location was really good. Surrounding area needs some getting used to, it’s not a ‘pretty’ sight but once you get your bearings, it’s fine. The room lights n bathroom lights are not great, could hardly see to be able to apply make up properly, especially the room.. very dim. Bedding was comfortable and it was great that 3 could fit in a room with the extra bed provided at no extra charge ( as per the type of room we booked). Housekeeping could do a better job in their daily cleaning and the gym could be better equipped, perhaps a tower of dumbbells at the very least, as the kettle bells had an 8kg then a 4kg so nothing in between. Buffet breakfast was super, we were impressed with loads of choices. Pool isn’t big, but didn’t seem too bad as the rooms with pool access had their own personal pool space. Rooms are all facing pool area which was nice. Overall, staffed pretty well and friendly enough. "

"Food was great. Lots of bacon at breakfast, which is extremely important for Canadian travelers :) Grounds are beautiful. Multiple pools were clean and serene. Rooms were clean and the king bed was the size of my apartment...huge! Female staff were all very pleasant. The male front desk staff were average. All it takes is a smile and you've won me over, however, I took notice that male staff behind the counter don't seem to smile at all. I try not to be too judgy about those things because you never know what someone is going through, but day after day, I noticed that male staff behind counter seemed almost bothered when you came up to the counter. Other than that, the stay was amazing. Would definitely return. "

"If you are looking for R&R, this place is for you, provided you can handle stairs. Our room was spacious and the sea view was beautiful. We had room 111. We truly believe it is the worst room they have. We were forewarned during check in that it was a distance away and involved stairs, but was the room that fit with our booking of king bed and sea view. We had 54 stairs to climb from our rm to the main lobby. 35 stairs to the restaurant. We couldn’t get to anything without stairs. We even had to go up one set of stairs and down another to get to the pool. We also like to sit out on our balcony after returning from the pool. Our balcony was directly above a staff area, so at times, was quite noisy. (Voices, a noisy water pump (?) I don’t know what the phone ext. was for our rm, but twice in 9 nights we received calls from other guests. The first was around midnight asking for water to be sent to their room. The second was at 1:45 am asking for help with their luggage. Both times we were sleeping. Speaking of pools, they are lovely (but in need of some work). Again, 8 steps down to the infinity pool and another 22 to the lower pool. Kudos to the chefs! We didn’t have one single meal that wasn’t delicious! Our second last night, we saw a daytime activity schedule at the top of the stairs near the lobby bar. Who knew!? They offer currency exchange, but not for Canadian $ There is literally nothing to do here. Beautiful place but 10 nights was too long. "

"The best hotel we have stayed in. We have traveled the world. The location was great, the views from the pool was spectacular. Breakfast buffet was out of this world. The staff was friendly and most helpful. If you are in Phuket, it’s a must. "
