"Nice onsen, good facilities"

"We absolutely loved Yamate Inn. The staff was very friendly, the room was decent, and it’s in a great location; lots of neat places along the street on which it lies. If we return to Kofu (likely) we will definitely seek it out again."

"Hotel was clean but we were told it was a love hotel that also offered rooms by the hour. Found things in room we weren’t used to and although it was a clean room we felt we should have been told ahead of time."

"Staff friendly and everything was perfect."

"We had the pleasure of staying at Kay"

"Highlight of this place was definitely the view and the dinner and breakfast that they prepare."

"The property is very nice and had no problems with staff. They were very nice and helpful. However, for those looking to access public transportation this hotel is not for you. I didn’t realize how far away this hotel was from bus stops or train stations when booking and found myself kind of stranded (I tried to walk to the bus stop 20minutes away and the streets immediately around the hotel are not designed for pedestrians). "Amazing owners/staff, Amazing place to recharge your energy! Fishing option is great too! Perfect for camp beginners and for everyone! Can’t wait to go back again."

"Older style ryokan definitely kept the old style, a great experience that I think the newer hotels wouldn’t give you. Great views of the lake, only a 5 minute walk around the corner to see Mt Fuji!"

"Beautiful view"

"This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend."

"Amazing place!!"

"Stayed here on a family holiday in 2 double rooms. Convenient location as we were driving and good value. Very helpful staff. Clean rooms with amenities available as required. Dining options are available nearby; the sushi place directly across the road is excellent! Would be happy to recommend to others who would like a slightly unusual place to stay "

"The staff was incredibly nice and the incl. buffet breakfast and omakase dinner was excellent. The in room private onsen was very nice with views of Mt. Fuji. The nightly drum show was a nice touch. 10/10 recommend!"

"Beautiful room, lovely staff/owners, and the cleanliness is exceptional. Very comfortable place to stay with a view of Fuji. "

"Beautiful location with wonderful staff.."

"Wonderful stay. Staff were incredibly helpful. We got lucky and had views of Mt. Fugi almost our entire stay. I would highly recommend staying here. "
