"Perfect stay. Gracious, welcoming and warm staff. Beautiful stone and 16th century Roman architecture, it was so authentically Italian. Convenient location, near everything, all shops, restaurants, the ferry to Capri, Positano, Amalfi and Ravello as well as the train to Pompeii and Naples. Would 100% recommend this lovely hotel."

Melania was amazing; so helpful with recommendations for food and arranging our transportation. We will be back for sure. "Lovely hotel, amazing views, manicured gardens, excellent staff, (Carmen, Martina, Connie, Gaetano, Valentina, Laura, Roberta to mention but a few) good spa. However, there were 2 major issues which were not in keeping with a 5* at this price point: 1) there is a huge unattached manhole on the road in front of the hotel which makes a racket every time a car drives over it and keeps you up at night through the night; 2) a horrible drain stench from the toilet / bidet in the rooms.
