Staff was very friendly and helpful. I speak German but could also pretty easily communicate in English with all staff too. Location was perfect for staying in München. Lots to do close to the hotel but also only a 5 min walk to the train to go anywhere outside the city as well.

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel in Munich! The staff at the reception were incredibly warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable after a long day of exploring the city. The location is perfect — right in the center of Munich and just a short walk from the central train station, which made everything super convenient. The free coffee, tea, and light snacks were such a thoughtful touch and made the experience even more enjoyable!

Staff were fine, property needs updates. Several outlets were not functioning, tub and furniture were severely chipped, wasn't very clean upon arrival. Front desk clerk was often away smoking. Area was convenient for the tours and train station, but not the prettiest area by far. Munich itself was amazing. I'll definitely be back!

For the money, the hotel was very good. Basic but clean, helpful staff and located a short walk from the centre so I would recommend for people that are not looking to pay a premium for luxury and want a clean base in a convenient location.

Nice, clean room that's decent sized, perfectly located with access to old town. Room is quiet with the window shut, but the room gets incredibly hot (even with radiator off) forcing you to open the window and, due to location in central city, gets noisy when window is open.

There is no A/C or fan in the room. Remember to ask for a fan at the front desk. They do speak English at the front desk for assistance. The hookah bar next door is very loud and they stay up very late.

I booked and paid for Hotel Deutsches Theater Landwehrstraße (address : Landwehrstraße 18, Munich, BY, 80336 Tyskland) for one night on the 25th of February. I was in Munich (München) on 25th of February. I was delayed by certain business and when I was at the doorsteps of the hotel after taking an expensive taxi ride (costing 110 Euros!), I found there was No One answer the doorbell! I kept the doorbell ringing for at least 25 minutes and there was nothing happened. As there was not even a phone number given on your website, I have to take another taxi ride just to find another hotel in the city which proved to be impossible as there would be a football match the following day! So, I demand my money back. Now. I have never in my life experienced this horrible state of hotel service. And I will tell everyone on my social media to avoid your portal and of course the hotel.

Super close to the train station. Clean inside. Helpful staff. IMO in a bit of a questionable area and very noisey after about 10pm. Lots of huka crap and a strip joint if you are into that. Within a good walking distance of a lot of stuff. If I would have been with kids or a wife, I wouldnt stayed there after the first night. I would not recommend the location for families. The room was clean and decent size. The photos are pretty deceiving considering the location. A bit sketchy late at night. Overall a good value considering the price and inside cleanliness, however i will say it again. I wouldnt stay here with a wide or kids.

Located in between hookah lounges which you had to pass going in or out. Location was sketchy, some sort of gang confrontation happened outside during the night. Hotel is way past need of renovation. Bathrooms were not well kept. No a/c.
