"The room was very clean. I put the sign to have the room cleaned...change towels and dishes, add more coffee. Nothing was done and the front desk said they don't provide cleaning this time of year, I assume she meant between guests! She did come with fresh towels and 2 coffee pods and cups and took away the dirty dishes. Staff were great, dinner was fantastic, view was terrific (no place to sit outside even through it was nice out). In the king room the bathroom walls are not closed off at the top, vaulted ceiling which leaves little privacy and no fan in the bathroom."

"Before booking know exactly what you are getting into. No phone connection or internet. 90 minute drive in a van from parking up the mountain to the lodge. All meals are eaten collectively, which is great for meeting interesting people. But guests are 90 percent Québécois and enjoy socialising in French. This is a place to do 2 hikes per day. Lots if variety for expert to advanced intermediate hikers. Less for less advanced hikers. Food is excellent. Guides are wonderful "
