"Stayed here with family for a night and was very pleased with our stay. Property was very clean as were the rooms. Staff was very accommodating in particular Vanessa who was working the front desk. I reserved two rooms, one for me and my wife and 2nd room for our three kids. Despite the hotel being almost completely booked due to a very busy weekend, Vanessa made sure to keep our rooms next to each other. Having our kids next to our room made our stay much more relaxing. Thank you Vanessa for your thoughtfulness"

"It's literally like camping...I love that feel. The owner is very nice and extremely accommodating. We arrived really late and everyone was gone for the day but she made sure to leave an envelope where we would see it to let us know where our key wàs. She did all this even before receiving payment.(We book through hotels.com and it has you pay at the property at the owners request). Very peaceful and quiet. It is also like it's own little world with a small general store, gas station, diner and a miniatue golf course. I highly recommend this place!!!"

"I was a bit concerned on the way to the hotel since some of the reviews were less than good. I am happy to say the room and hotel were clean. Staff was pleasant. A few issues: 1) I was in room 127. Ground level. One of the windows to the outside could not be locked and there was no screen on that window. I had a metal item that I was able to use to keep it from being opened from the outside. This needs to be fixed. 2) the east door to the parking lot seemed to be unlocked at all times, even at night. It had a card reader for security, but it was either broken or just not activated. This is a relatively safe area, but security is always important. 3) Room only had one washcloth and I asked for another but they were all out. I was given a couple of smaller handtowels. Some attention to these things would elevate overall ratings, I am sure."
