"This is an excellent 4* hotel very close to the city centre and port. Very helpful staff on reception with parking on the road just outside the hotel. Excellent breakfast. Very good value. A very enjoyable stopover on our trip to Puglia. We shall return."
"Great location in the centre, near the bus station and at most 30 min walk from most attractions. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is great - fruit, yogurt, cereal, meat, cheese, salad, pastries, bread, cake, juice, water, coffee. Most staff were lovely, some could learn to smile or at least pretend to be happy."
"The suite is very close to the centre. I had a full apartment with a separate bedroom and a working kitchen. Check in is done electronically and a passcode is sent. The process was very easy. If I needed to communicate with the staff, I used WhatsApp. Very useful as they were very helpful, as when I asked about restaurant recommendations. A lovely place to stay for my 3 nights."
"The room was clean. The bed was good. Breakfast was good. Shower was good. The thing that stood out to me was the service and the staff. They were friendly. In a town not as geared toward tourists as, say, Venice, they were ready for us. Their English is good. But we always greeted each other with "Buongiorno" and "Buona serra." They recommended a great restaurant nearby. They let us store our luggage after we checked out so we could walk around town for a couple hours before it was time to catch our train. Breakfast has a wide variety of food, all of which was good. I noticed that what they called "American coffee" was (happily) stronger on our second morning than our first. The cappuccino was a better choice for the first morning. They have an excellent espresso machine downstairs, which they use for cappuccino, and for hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is quite good, but they charge extra for that, so be aware. There's a charge for that and room taxes when you check out. The neighborhood is diverse with plenty of East Asian and Middle Eastern immigrants, and there is a wide variety of restaurants within a 5-10 walk from the hotel. It's about a 30-minute walk uphill, then downhill, to downtown, but downtown has a great view of the Adriatic, along with some great sights. It's worth the hike. I would stay here again. Recommended."
"We had a good stay in Ancona. The apartment was very spacious and had plenty of room, which we loved. It was also conveniently located just a short walk from the train station, making it very practical for our travels. The host was super responsive and attentive over text messages.
However, we felt the apartment could really benefit from an update; the furniture and overall colors felt old and a bit dated. Also, the vibe in the neighborhood at night made us feel slightly uneasy, though we didn't experience any issues.
On the plus side, the kitchen was well-equipped, and having a washing machine was a huge bonus."
