Puerto Mercado Hotel
Stayed for 3 nights in one of their larger rooms that was really nice with a King size bed and plenty of space to move around. The room, the bed , the bathroom was immaculately clean. The location is in the heart of the old town. Everything checked out for us and would highly recommend.

NH Montevideo Columbia
NH is a well-known hotel chain, and we've stayed with them in other cities. This was our first time in Montevideo. The location is excellent. Don Boutique Hotel Montevideo
It was a good location for the old town. During the day there are several restaurants open, but after 6 pm the choices nearby are limited. Our first room had a strong cigarette smell, but the staff moved us with no issue the next morning to a clean room.

Alma Histórica Boutique Hotel
I was happy with the room. The hotel is located across from a little square. There was not a lot of car or foot traffic outside. The location is good for visiting the Ciudad Vieja. I was also able to walk to the Buquebus which goes to Buenos Aires.
