"The location of this hotel was perfect for where we wanted to go. However, there were issues with our stay. When we got in our room, there were stains on the towels and shower curtain, there was also no trash can other than the small one next to the toilet in the bathroom. One thing that was not stated on the Expedia booking was that there is a daily parking fee, as well as a daily amenities fee. During our stay, we did encounter an infestation of gnats however that was happening to all rooms due to the recent storms. While trying to get rid of those bugs we found other smaller bugs crawling all over the sink as well as a cockroach in the counter. We asked to switch rooms and they were very helpful in getting us another similar room in the other side of the building. When trying to park in one of the only open parking spots available. I had to pull forward due to a palm tree growing over the back of the spot and not being able to open the trunk of the car. I then received a text stating I was illegally parked and would get a fee or towed if I did not move, (there were no signs or indication not to park there, and the car was also not clicking any passage way or road or anything like that, it was simply due to pulling forward). "
"Our room was one on the very end of the building -- which means it was one of the larger ones overlooking the courtyard. We found our room quite large which made the king sized bed look small. Being on the third floor we had a wonderful view of a Hawaiian tree -- lovely. We enjoyed the variety of bird that popped up to our terrace including two types of Cardinals. The room was very clean and pest-free.
Our issues with this room were: 1. One-Ply toilet tissue and no Hand Bidet. Many people have hand bidets in their homes and going to a vacation property without diminishes the vacation. If the company wants to save on toilet paper, put in Bidets and bring back the two-ply.
Our air-con constantly error coded and overran. We were very cold. It depends upon a sealed space, yet management failed to see the massive gap beneath the main door. Fix the weather strip 332.
The table and two chairs inside were located directly in the path of the air-con flow. There was no light over that area, so it was absolutely useless for reading/writing.
As usual, so many hotels in the world seldom have enough places to hang towels to dry. Our room had one hook and the towel never really dried out.
I hate Keurigs. So wasteful and there were only two cups provided for two people. Would have preferred a hotpot for tea or instant or pour-over.
Staff were very nice. They actually appreciated our presence.
I really wished there was more social space for people to mingle like a basic bar."
"Great location- concierge was fabulous also. Shout out to Johanna in activities for coming through with a great deep sea fishing tour at last minute. The Japango restaurant is great - make reservations "
"First family vacation with our kids! The experiences, staff, food and view was all top notch! Definitely would recommend this location to anyone looking for a place to stay! Super kid friendly... Family friendly, not a party hotel. Beautiful beach with snorkel options. Can't wait to come back!!"
"This place is great and the best affordable place to stay on Molokai. Full kitchen with microwave,s stove and oven. Nice balcony. The only complaint, that I'm not sure can be that controlled, were flies in the drains and we saw maybe 2 or 3 cockroaches. Which with being on a tropical island is the best outcome. Beds, couch, dishes, fridge and freezer all super clean. Only thing that could have made it better would be air-conditioning!"
