Our room was not ready even at 5 pm. We got a temporary room. Relocation was not smooth as the front desk and housekeeping were out of reach completely. We had to use the landline to connect at least to some staff from the hotel.

Though we only stayed one night at Excelsior, it left such a wonderful impression that we wished we had planned a longer stay. Our room on the 4th floor featured stunning floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the magnificent Milano Centrale — such a memorable view to wake up to. What impressed us most, however, was how unbelievably quiet the room was. Despite being directly across from the train station, we heard absolutely no outside noise whatsoever — no traffic, sirens, or the usual city sounds one might expect. The sound insulation (or windows!) is truly remarkable and made for one of the quietest hotel nights we’ve had. The service throughout our stay was exceptional — warm, polished, and attentive in a way that made us feel genuinely well taken care of. Our only regret is that we didn’t have more time to enjoy the spa, which looked beautiful and gave us every reason to want to return. A fantastic stay and one we would happily repeat on a future visit to Milan.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they even allowed us to check in early on the day of arrival, which was greatly appreciated after traveling. The hotel offers a convenient shuttle to the city center, making it easy to get around. Breakfast was absolutely amazing with plenty of great options, and the highlight of the stay was definitely the spa—so relaxing and well maintained. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this hotel to others!

Una Hotel lindo con oportunidad de mejorar. El Hotel es bastante bonito, con un diseño de interiores muy bello, el personal de recepción siempre atento, Eduard (espero no equivocarme en el nombre) que hablaba español siempre me ayudó en mis temas, la único que no me gustó es el tema de la limpieza, el primer día llegamos del tour y no habían hecho la habitación, así nos quedamos sin limpieza ese día, posteriormente la limpieza era muy superficial, de hecho se veían sucias varias partes de la habitación, los burós con polvo, el lavabo pegajoso, etc nunca volvió a oler bien o a sentirse limpia, se veía una limpieza muy básica y daba la misma sensación. La localización es buena a pocos minutos del centro, en frente de la estación de trenes, durante nuestro viaje a Italia y España pagamos en promedio lo mismo q costó esta habitación por noche y fue la habitación más pequeña del viaje pero hace su función, la comida del Room service de las mejores que probamos.
