"An old farmhouse that was beautifully restored, meticulous in details and was well kept. The villa itself is just next to it and looks partially abandoned. We wandered to the backyard of the villa and was told it was private property. There should be a sign saying so to stop guests from entering. "

The day before we arrived, we received an email that offered us appetizers and 2-3 drinks for 35€ at 7pm on a Thursday. Since we arranged for dinner reservations months before, we declined. We had booked this rural vineyard for its peaceful location. When we returned from dinner on Thursday, there was no parking at the hotel and we had to park far away in a dark area in the vineyard. "The family who ran it were amazing. Drove us in their own vehicle to a restaurant and picked us up. They also drove us to the bus station. The accommodations were very clean. My only concern was the pillows were uncomfortable. They served a nice breakfast with home made pastry. "We took our son to Italy for graduation gift -the farm was a last minute stop-of btw Florence and Coritina Dempazzo. We also went to Venice and Cinque terre. I asked him what was favorite part of whole trip he said, “the farm”! Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff. The food prepared on the grounds was delicious! It’s rustic for sure. No luxury!
