It is near the lake with a rocky beach from which I saw the sunset.
The porch and dining room have views of the beautiful garden flowers and the lake. I loved the blue/white room with an alcove that we had.

"This was our second time staying at this well managed hotel in Petoskey . Such a nice property . Well maintained with professional courteous staff. The room was very nice with comfortable queen beds for the family . It was located close to the downtown with easy access to restaurants and shops . Little Traverse Bay was easily viewable . "We recently had a great 4-night stay at the Charlevoix House. We thought Stephan, the innkeeper was wonderful and seemed to truly enjoy his role there. He was very attentive and went out of his way to ensure that our stay was a good one. His breakfast dishes were delicious and fresh every day. "We stayed here for our cedar point trip on Labor Day weekend. It was a great experience. The staff was extremely professional, courteous and friendly. The evening shift lady who checked us in was very nice, professional and hardworking. The suites we stayed in was spacious and modern. Rooms are well insulated & quiet. kids enjoyed the pool a lot.
