"The Hotel was centrally located to train station and attractions. Upon arrival the reception area was quite dark. Staff was unable to communicate room check in and procedures. Friendly however awkward."

"Staff at check in was so pleasant and helpful. She went out of her way to help us with the laundry machines. Our apt was spotless and very comfortable. Views were stunning as we sat on the huge balcony. Very well equipped kitchen. Definitely rate this a 10+. I hope we can return someday"

"The room was cute and cabin-like however the bedding was terrible, as during the night it would fall to the floor and the so called pillow was hard to describe, flat as a pancake and lumpy, certainly not comfortable. There was no fridge nor kettle which should be standard in hotel units."

"The location was superb as it was literally a minute walk from the Grindewald station, and it's on the quieter side of the town. Staff were excellent, professional, helpful with advice. The breakfast was superb with a great variety and plenty of comfortable seating. The main issue was the hair found on blankets and in bathtub (photos taken, clearly not mine as I found them on arrival), there was also a red stain on one of the face washers/towels. "Hotel was great and staff was excellent, especially Sophia in the restaurant. Self check-in was a little challenging. I didn’t have WiFi in the days prior so missed the instruction email. Sophia was helpful upon arrival since we didn’t have the room code. "

"Our room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast staff were awesome. The breakfast was great, and the atmosphere was cute and quaint. We loved our entire stay here. It was a good jumping off point for our excursions. There might be slightly better locations, but this was perfect for us."

"Going in we knew it was a historic building but the room was dark and minimal compared to other similar facilities we have stayed at. No one was at the desk to check us in, we had to call on phone at desk to pay for parking before getting code to lock box for key to room. There was no mention of a code to get back in the building in the evening. Breakfast was the standard continental breakfast. Beautiful area with an old church and covered bridge."
