"The drive to the hotel in the 'Lesser Town' was - given the many tourists and school groups touring the neighborhood - somewhat unnerving as the streets with their cobblestone pavement were obviously not laid out for car traffic (and there was construction going as well. Anyway, we made it and were welcomed by excellent hosts at a location that literally is on spitting distance from the Charles Bridge. The reception desk told us that we had the best room in the hotel (#10) and that was...

Enjoyed the neighborhood close to Nerudova St and many gardens. The US embassy is close by and so there's police presence in the area. We felt safe."
