We drove from Adelaide airport about 50 mins. On arrival at 12 noon our room was all ready for us. Wow. A really lovely, spacious room with spa bath. Looked out onto a nice parkland and over the way was the largest shopping plaza I have ever been in. to the other side was an all you can eat lovely Chinese eater and 2 nearby bars. I had a good bedroom with a comfy bed. There was a very big attached living room including a kitchenette which had a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and sink with plates and cutlery etc. Reception was open for long hours and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is on Melbourne Street which is a nice road with lots of restaurants, shops and bars. It felt very safe. The free city bus stopped within a 7 minute walk down Melbourne St. I highly recommend this hotel for facilities,...

After a ten day road trip in the Outback I wanted a decent room with a bath to relax before heading back to Melbourne and the Majestic was perfect. Good, central location and a very comfortable room with everything I needed. Although I was up fairly early next morning, it was good to know that checkout was a city-friendly 11am. The hotel’s name is a bit of a misnomer though - the rooftop is neither majestic nor garden like!
