"The staff were all super friendly and helpful.We did valet our car for 3 nights which was expensive ($60/night) but parking in Boston stinks anywhere and the valet was convenient so we didn't have to drive around looking for a garage.There is also a $40/night "hotel" fee which I know the city puts onto the bill but it is a bit ridiculous money grab. Our room (813) was a nice corner room. We loved the night light in the bathroom under the mirror that was red and on a motion sensor. The shower was clean, with a strong shower head. I'm 6'2" and fit in the shower with ease. The room also had a safe and the service was great. My kids LOVED the fact that snacks and water were included. They are so programmed to never eat anything in the room. There were bikes available in the lobby but my 12 year old was a little nervous riding in the bike lanes so we just walked everywhere. We picked the Godfrey because of it's central location and proximity to Boston Commons. You are near Cheers, the Freedom trail and subway. We walked to Fenway for a game because it was so nice outside (35 minutes) and took the subway back after the game. My only complaint would be the placement of the mini-fridge. It was right next to one of the beds where you lay your head to sleep so it would turn on/off all night. It was loud enough to be quite annoying to the person sleeping in that spot. If they could put it inside of piece of furniture or move it away from the bed that would help. "

"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

"The room is very convenient for walking around Boston - and is right next to Boston University (noise). Unfortunately the noise from the city (sirens, traffic, yelling, etc) and light were very loud/noticeable. The room has only metal blinds and would greatly benefit from room darkening, heavy curtains to help eliminate some of that. Everything was clean. We didn't use the kitchen, so I cannot speak to its benefits. The bed was comfortable, and the room had what was necessary (seating, towels, etc). The host was very quick to answer messages. Be alert that check-in instructions will be sent via messages through Expedia (I don't keep a check on email/Expedia, so we had missed several attempts to communicate). The door code we were sent did not work on the back door, but it was fine for the front, so we simply used it there. Make sure to check all the property details - THERE IS NO ELEVATOR!! We were only in Boston 2 nights, so the room was okay. Honestly not sure I would stay here again simply because of the light and noise intrusion. "

"The hotel is in a perfect location. If you want to ride a multi stop tour bus there just so happens to be a pickup right outside the hotel. Just across the street is the Sheraton that is linked to the Prudential Center upscale mall that also connects to another hotel. We also were in walking distance the the historical FENWAY PARK to catch a baseball game. You are safely walking to and from the game with a large amount of people. The Hilton accommodations were excellent as we got there a little before check in but the check in person got us in a room that was actually an upgrade almost immediately. The room was very clean and the King sized bed was extremely comfortable. There was a desk area in our room if you had to do some work They offered a $10 discount on full service breakfast each morning up til 11am There was a bar area to enjoy a drink We had a corner room that was very quiet. Didn't hear any exterior noises. Nice size TV with streaming capabilities I would highly recommend the Hilton for anyone looking to enjoy the city of Boston We would definitely stay there again upon our return"
