"Overall good hotel but the AC was loud at night "

"From the beginning the staff was welcoming. I was upgraded complimentary and boy the room was beautiful. The balcony view was of the center of the hotel but the center of the hotel is opened air (no roof). So it was so nice to be able to have fresh air and the railing was covered in beautiful flowers. Guest services Wael took excellent care of me. As soon as I arrived, he was able to assist me with booking a massage that was one of the best if not the best massages I have ever had (and I have gotten many massages around the world). I only stayed two out of five nights at the Steigenberger and I wish I had stayed with them the whole time. Would definitely recommend staying here for your Luxor trip. "

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. They made sure that my needs were met. They helped take a lot of stress off by arranging the taxi from and to the airport. The views from the hotel are incredible. You can see Luxor temple and the Nile river as well as the valley of the kings off in the distance. You can also see the sunrise from the top floor. It was unreal every time I went to my balcony. If you walk out of the front door and immediately turn left and walk like youre going behind the hotel the bazaar is directly next behind it. Theres also an incredible restaurant right behind the hotel too (you do gotta battle the bazaar though) the food is a little more costly but it was some of the freshest food I had in Luxor. I’ll leave a picture of it."

"Nice hotel in a convenient location. Roof top pool with bar and a couple of different restaurants. Very nice breakfast available as well. Check in was quick with the staff being very helpful. Rooms were nicely appointed and clean."

"Howard Carter Hotel - what a find. Read all reviews and wasn't disappointed. From the very outset, we had a small issue with our room and was moved the next day into another room with no hesitation. We didn't like to complain as everyone at the hotel was so lovely and accommodating. Mr Said the owner who would always come around at meal times to make sure everything was to our liking. The Chefs worked so hard to deliver lovely dishes. The waiters were so accommodating and couldn't do enough for us. Ahmed and Ahmed and the lad and the gentleman at breakfast (apologies I couldn't remember their names). There was a great varied menu at dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and a lovely touch with the miniature pancakes everyday. My husband didn't care for pancakes so I ate his as well. Yummy !! The view from both our rooms was fantastic of the Nile and Pool. The Pool was clean and well kept. The hotel staff also cared about our wellbeing as whoever was picking us up would have to complete their details etc. for our security. We would definitely be back when the time is right. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere felt very safe and friendly for a solo woman traveller. The pool was clean and the pool area very good, although there were times it was difficult to find a sunbed. If I ever return to Luxor, I would definitely stay here again."

"Lovely clean hotel with great facilities and views across the Nile. Breakfast had a nice choice of pastries, pancakes and omelette, cereal and hot breakfast and meats and cheeses. Alcoholic drinks and food were quite expensive but weren't good quality and plenty to choose from."

"I had an amazing time at Djorff Palace. The staff were incredible and the room was amazing. I wish I had more time to spend there and really enjoy. I will be coming back for sure! "
