"The owner and staff were always easily accessible, knowledgeable and helpful. Quiet relaxed atmosphere 10 minutes by train from the old historic part of Lucerne and the train was free. My room looked out over horse pastures which was a great departure for the crowed noisy streets of downtown areas. The chef had over 40 years of experience and the dinners he prepared were delicious. Best place I stayed in three countries."

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist große Klasse , es fehlt an gar nichts und die Qualität ist sehr gut. Der Frühstücksraum mit Blick auf den See lädt zum verweilen ein. Kurz gesagt empfehlenswert. "

What made it special was all the details, from each room names after a waterfall with info to look up, to the little key on a lanyard for our kid, to the water bottles, or to the bubblegum game on the wall.
