"Very nice, old, nostalgic hotel that has been well maintained and upgraded! We stayed in a King Deluxe room with private bath and corner room views with lots of daylight (and shutters for sleeping-in in the morning). City location is great with lots of restaurants and shopping within a short walk. We would definately stay here again!"

"This is a motel not a hotel, so rooms are all ground level and open into the parking lot (no interior common areas or hallways). Walls are really thin! Can hear your neighbors talking at normal volume, fortunately my neighbors weren't too loud. Room was clean and comfy enough. Area has a Walgreens across the street and multiple restaurants in walking distance. About 10 - 15 min car ride to Stanford. Not terrible for a quick stay where I was barely in my room, but not great, especially for the price."

"Amazing hotel! Great rooms, bathrooms and the bed is very comfortable! The bar and coffee shop area very nice to work or relax from and we went everyday. I’ve gone to Mountain View for work and this is the only hotel my team chooses. "

"I've stayed here before and will stay here again. It's a budget hotel/motel but honestly, the bed was as comfy as a place 3X the price. Everything was clean. The staff was super nice. Check in took 30 seconds. For my tastes, the place is def worn around the edges, decor a bit dated and not appeal to some, and it's not what I would say -- pretty. But everything worked, I got a good night's sleep, things were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. If you're a fussy type and have a certain aesthetic, you won't like it. If you can see past old (but functional) elements, and don't need everything to feel like a designer layout, you could do OK here."

"The property itself is very pleasant, with a garden and a restaurant by the pool that make the atmosphere very peaceful. The rooms, however, are quite old and in my opinion would benefit from some renovation. Unfortunately, my room also had a very strong smell, which I believe was coming from the carpet. The odor even got into my clothes, which was really unpleasant."
