This hotel is closed. I booked on Expedia. Went to the hotel on 14 July to check-in. The gates were locked. The rooms were padlocked & a woman yelled at me from a window "closed" I then had to find other accommodation carrying a backpack in terrible heat. After being turned away from 3 other hotels I finally found other accommodation. The owner told me that Lakhanthong Hotel has been closed for nearly 3 years & yet it is still advertising on Agoda & Expedia. Expedia has been advised of this as I spent an hour on chat trying to get a refund as I had paid Expedia for the night at Lakhanthong Hotel & to have the property removed from the site. It still appears on other booking sites as do many other hotels in Luang Prabang that are closed. In the last 5 days I have had to move hotels 3 times because hotels in Luang Prabang are either not booking the correct rooms or overbooking & trying to send guests to other hotels run by family members. They then claim that the guest was a no-show & collect the cancellation fee. Expedia needs to do an audit of all the hotels they have listed in Luang Prabang. I have spent my entire holiday packing & unpacking my bag and running between hotels. I have spoken to other foreigners that are experiencing the same.

Charming peaceful place to stsy

Great place to unwind from the hustle and bustle. Breakfast is freshly made to order and is lovely. No kettle in the room but they will give you tea and coffee whenever you want it. Very helpful reception staff. Only issue was that the drainage channel outside the property which was a bit messy but that will soon be sorted

We loved this place and the service was excellent. The location is good (try 525 restaurant right next door) and quiet. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and kind!

Good People Good hotel and Good Service

The boutique are nice and solid wood design inside out. Location not far from old city and 10-15 walking to the night market. Mr. Minh is really helpful and he is so nice to us during our stay. Breakfast serve to your door and you can enjoyed it at your veranda. Order are not limited. They do provide bicycle and you can take it to go round the city

We had a great time at this hotel. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly, and the hotel itself was beautiful. Get the banana pancake at breakfast - it’ll change your life.

A little gem.

Would definitely stay here again. From the free shuttle service from and to the airport to the worlds largest omelette for breakfast and friendly staff this place will take some beating. A 15 minute walk to the night market and set in a quiet location it was ideal for us. Thanks to all of you for making this a memorable part of our holiday.

Excellent séjour

Très belle impression que cet hôtel, on se sent très très bien dans les chambres, spacieuses, toutes de bois, très classes. De plus le personnel est extrêmement sympathique et serviable, on peut tout leur demander, des vélos sont prêtés gratuitement, un service de pick-up à l'aéroport est aussi gratuit, que demander de plus....

次回もここに滞在したいと思いました。朝食の種類が多いので長期滞在者には特によいと思います。中心街から少し離れていますが、運動にちょうど良い距離（ゆっくり歩いて10分程度）ですし、必要なら自転車を貸してくれます。周辺にもゲストハウスやホテルがたくさんあり、夜も怖くはありませんでした。バスタブやシャワーの水量も温度も十分で快適でした。

ホテルマンのMingがなんでもしてくれる。英語も堪能！

ゆっくり、したい人ならここ。朝ごはん、数種類から選べる。お風呂水圧OK それほど汚くないちょっと街から外れてるぶん、非常に静か。 (町自体小さいので全く問題なし) 水飲み放題。ホテルの作りが本当に頑丈。朝、皆が、一生懸命掃除している。凄く清潔。ホテルマンのMingがなんでもリクエストすればしてくれる。リゾートホテルだ

It was an amazing stay. They gave us free coffee/tea anytime, and one fruit juice a day. They also let us use a bicycle (free) even after we checked out. The room is cozy and comfortable. We especially love the private breakfast at the terrace in front of our room. We would definitely stay there again!

Eu AMEI ficar no Lakhangthong! O quarto super confortável e limpo, fui muito bem atendida pelos funcionários, café da manhã delicioso! Eles dispõem bicicletas para os hospedes se locomoverem na cidade, transfer para o aeroporto (sem custo adicional) e é possível "fazer o cambio" no próprio hotel pelo preço justo. Fazem de tudo para ajudar no que você precisar!

친절하고 깨끗하고 넓고 싼 숙소

음 가격대비해서 이런방을 구할수있다는것에 놀랐습니다. 처음 체크인하니 환영 과일스무디와 망고메론 깍아서 가져다 주더군요 1박2만중반대인데 냉장고 티비에 욕조까지있어요 온수도 잘나오고 침대도 푹신푹신 그리고 조식도 줍니다. 메인거리도 조금만 걸으면되고 매우만족했어요

新しく清潔なホテル

メイン通りから少し入った場所にあるため、夜は真っ暗で何もない。逆に言えば静かでたっぷり寝ることが出来た。ホテルの人はとても親切で、心地よかった。朝の食事もおいしく、昼間も無料のコーヒーを何杯も頼んでしまった。観光地までは少し距離があるが、朝夕は丁度良い運動にもなった。チェックアウト後も食事を兼ねて無料の自転車でふらふらと出かけ、最後は空港まで送ってもらいました。

Great boutique hotel and value for money

I really satisfied with this traditional wooden hotel. Paid small amount of money and enjoyed free airport pick up service, free delicious and rich breakfast, free bicycle during the stay and free flow of coffee or tea any time. Never have this experience before. If you like stylish restaurant Mandas de Laos and cool bar 525, they are just next door Thank you Minh, Micheal and all the stuffs for your great service! Fantastic work!

清潔なホテルです。

特に不満な点はありません。荷物を預かってもらったり、ツアーの手配をしてもらったりお世話になりました。パンケーキもおいしかったです。

Houten gebouw net boven een voldoende.

Hotel in een rustige omgeving, vriendelijk personeel, gratis transfer van en naar airport. Minder pisitief: geen voldoende ruimte om je koffers kwijt te raken, geen grote kamer met groot bed, gordijn niet breed genoeg, laat veel zonlicht door, openingen in de muur, geen veilig gevoel.

Short walk to everything

Staff super friendly and accommodating! Love the free airport shuttle service and it is less than a block fromantic both the highest rated restaurant and cocktail bar.

Nice hotel, good breakfast

The hotel is located close to the Main Street. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The rooms are a bit small and oddly dark but the wooden furniture is nice. The bathroom has an odd set up, there's a bathtub with a shower head but no shower curtain so the floor got very wet.

コストパフォーマンスが最高でした

口コミ評価が高いので予約しましたが、本当によかったです。値段は安宿程度ですが、清潔感もあり、とてもよかったです。オーナーのマイケルはとても感じのよい人で、いつも笑顔で「何か困ったことない？」「部屋はどう？」など、何かと気遣ってくれました。しかし、スタッフがマイナス１なのは、マイケルと交代でフロントにいる、もう一人の若い男性（少年？）。対照的にいつも怒っているような話し方で、しかも英語のなまりがひどくて、感じ悪かったです。それ以外はとてもよかったです。レンタル自転車が無料で、毎日借りてました。朝食もボリュームたっぷりでいくつかのメニューから選べるようになっていました。シャンプー、歯ブラシ、スリッパ、ケトルはついていないので、持参してください。タオル、トイレロール、固形石鹸はついています。それと、部屋の鍵は外付けの大きな南京錠です。このあたりはゲストハウスの名残なのだと思いますが、この値段なら十分満足できます。

Very welcoming

The personnel was endlesly kind and helpful. We used the free bikes on both days that we stayed. Breakfast was simple but very sufficient. Their taxi service was splendid. Minor detail: the room was dark due to the choice for the interior. But no issue if this is the last of your priorities.

Delightful Hotel

We enjoyed our stay here and actually extended by another day. Fantastic staff even tho English a bit of a problem but then we are used to that with travelling. Would prefer a kettle in the room rather than having to ask staff everytime you want to have a cup of tea or coffee. They were always very quick to bring it to you when you asked but i just went without a lot rather than bother them. I bring my own coffee with me so just needed a cup of hot water for it and didn't like to ask too many times during the day so opted to go without apart from breakfast and maybe one at night.

Full of bed bugs!! no backup generator!

I stayed one night and was eaten alive by bed bugs in room 14--i mean hundreds of bites all over me. Michael apologised, but didn't do much else and disappeared after I told him. also, power knocked out BC of storm and no candles, torches, or back up anything. so all night with no ac, no electricity, no running water, and no internet. miserable. not worth it BC heaps of places in town for same price or less.

Hôtel très proche de la route. mais très joli.

Excellent accueil, Directeur et personnel absolument efficaces, gentils, souriants. Impeccable. L'hôtel est bien situé, il est petit, convivial, mais situé au bord de la route (peu ou pas de circulation ce n'est donc pas gênant), les chambres en rez-de-chaussée, sont presque au bord de la route, Chambres d'une parfaite propreté, joli décor. . Les Chambres en étage avec terrasse sont mieux. Tout est excellent, mais il n'y a pas de jardin, c'est donc plus un hôtel de passage, que de séjour. A recommander absolument pour un séjour de visite à Luang Prabang.Il y règne une excellente ambiance.

価値のあるホテル

評価が高いために予約をしました。場所は、メインよりやや離れていて歩くのはちょっと大変です。しかし、私は托鉢を見るために早朝や、ナイトマーケットを見た後に夜中に歩いて戻りましたが。周りに電気が少ないので、女性が一人で夜歩くのはちょっと無理かもしれません。ホテルは、価格も手ごろで、まずまず清潔で、お湯が出るのが良かったです。朝食も普通ですが、美味しいです。朝食時間を過ぎていたのでが、用意してくれました。

戸建形式の低層のホテル

町の中心からやや離れていた。ただレンタル自転車があり観光では特に不便を感じなかった。朝食は部屋の外、屋外で食べる、2月中旬のルアンパバーンは朝は10度程度になり寒かった。

만족!

먼저 단점은,,, 관광중심지에서는 조금 멀리 떨어져있어요. 저는 걷는 것을 좋아해 딱좋은 거리이기는 했지만, 걷기 싫어하는 분들에게는 멀게 느껴질 수 있습니다. 그 외의 것은 다 좋았어요. 조용하고 직원 모두 친절하고 그리고 조식이 맛있습니다.
