This is an excellent hotel dedicated to keeping Luang Prabang sustainable. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay and there’s a great pool !

We started our two week trip travelling through Lao, Cambodia, and Viet Nam at Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum and this is the hotel that gave us the most special memories. It was a little oasis at the end of a main street in Luang Prabang -- easy walking distance to temples, restaurants, markets, and the river, but was peaceful and beautiful. As far as we were concerned everything was perfect from the wonderful room with a generous balcony to the beautiful fabric artwork on the walls to the pool area sanctuary. Our highlights, though, were the staff -- so welcoming, helpful, and knowledgable -- and the restaurant where we ate every night because it felt like home. If it weren't a 20hour plane ride away, we'd visit more often.

I can recommend this hotel enough. I booked this hotel for my last 2 nights in Asia to unwind/decompress before heading back to the US. Lovely Lao Hotel

Very pleasant, attentive stay. Everyone was extremely helpful and obliging. Dining room was good with excellent service, cuisine satisfactory. Mostly Lao food. Reception optimal in all ways. Would stay on here again

A serene setting and great location

Beautiful and serene hotel in a quiet setting but just a 10-minute walk to the main part of town. Gorgeous guest rooms well-kept by an excellent cleaning staff. Our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The hotel staff is very welcoming. Daily breakfast buffet by the pool was always a treat.This is our third stay at this hotel and we will be back!

We have stayed here for three visits to Luang Prabang and would never stay anywhere else! The hotel is serene, welcoming, with a wonderful staff and fragrant gardens. It is only a pleasant 10-minute walk to the heart of Luang Prabang (or you could ride by tuk-tuk, since one always seems to be available outside the hotel). Very comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the garden, lovely open-air dining and breakfast room by the pool.Everything on the property is kept spotless.

Wat een parel in het centrum van Luang Prabang! Een in een mooie oude stijl opgetrokken hotel met meerdere gebouwen, niet te massaal, een mooie tuin en een fijn zwembad met bar. Vietimme hotellissa 5 yötä. Huone sopivan kokoinen ja kiva parveke puutarhaan. Hoyellialue todella viihtyisä ja rauhallinen. Aamupala mukavasti ulkona altaan lähellä. Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Varsinkin vastaanoton Chantelle auttoi retkien järjestelyissä ja varaili ravintolohin pöydät. Matkustimme maaliskuun lopussa jolloin kuumuuden takia turisteja ei niin paljon, joka sopi meille hyvin. Ehdottomasti menisimme uudelleen samaan hotelliin.

Nice time at a historical place.

Considering the difficult time with the Covid19 Pandemie around the world we were very positive surprised of the warming and charming welcoming received from the hotel staff at our arrival. The hotel summit a little feeling like life has been in the past during French Indochina times. The hotel personnel were very nice and always tried to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a very pleasant time in Luang Prabang and the holtel. Looking forward to come back for a visit again.

We liked the traditional, classy building, in the middle of lush vegetation and the attention of the staff. The rooms are a little to small, there are no electric socker in the bathroom and the breakfast is somewhat poor ( exception the last of 3 days,when there were more options) for the daily rate payed.
