"We enjoyed our stay. The inn is in an old historic building but the interior is clean and filled with nice touches. We stayed one night, and were in the smallest room. The bed was fine. The room was quiet! The breakfast was thoughtfully presented. Good coffee. Great bread. We enjoyed the outside patio and lawn that leads down to the Ottauquechee River. We also enjoyed the artwork in the gallery. The best part of the inn is the owner and staff. They are attentive and eager to please. "
"Charming quaint place with artistic decor. Care was taken with the breakfast - delicious, homemade and wonderful presentation.
It felt very homey.
Prompt response to my texts; excellent communication. Welcoming and friendly.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend the Vesper highly."
"Bed was more comfortable than home. Dinner at Richardson’s Grill was fantastic.
Breakfast buffet was mediocre.
Room was very nice but bathroom needed updating."
"Mike and Margaret were so kind and accommodating - their home is located in SUCH a beautiful space, and we were treated to a wonderful breakfast and conversation in the morning. We felt free to come and go, and enjoyed enthusiastic recommendations from Mike, including an exciting "scrabble" up Thundering Brook trail and a glorious swim spot at Kent Pond. Thank you again for everything! "
"Great place to stay, so close to the mountain, rode my bike all weekend. Clean comfortable room and the staff treated us like family.
Highly recommended.
Thanks!"
"This place was great! Relaxing. Nice amenities on the property and easy access to outdoor activities nearby. Cannot recommend it enough for a quiet getaway to recharge."
"Beautiful! The expedia pictures made it seem older than what it actually is - it's quaint yet updated and clean and comfortable. So pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was simple and delicious. So happy on all accounts!"
