"a good stay. Perhaps some of the property could do with a more thorough clean as I ended up cleaning the whole cutlery drawer. Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed"

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "

"We booked a double room.but when we arrived they had let our room out and gave us a twin room so i complained and they added free breskfast & drinks so we were fine . The room was large The beds were made into a double & was large & comfortable, room had iron & iron board , safe , fan , good tea tray & a seating area . "Accommodation was bright, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and polite. My only issue was the WiFi, I was in accommodation in a building detached from the main inn building. The WiFi was almost non-existent - as I was staying on business I rely on WiFi for the duration of my stay. It would be beneficial if the main building WiFi is extended to all accommodation. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant."

"This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good.
