A recently refurbished hotel near Paddington. Conveniently located and nice rooms. Sadly no functioning WiFi during my visit, which is pretty unacceptable in 2026 but how fully this is a temporary blip. At the right price this is a convenient, clean and modern place for a layover in London.

The location is fantastic. It’s a three-minute walk from Paddington station and everything is close by. The layout was extremely confusing, staircases were narrow, and there was no lift up to my room. I’m disabled, so having to haul my suitcases up and down the stairs was troublesome. It was comically awkward to stay with a friend because the bathroom is see-through and the sound is extremely loud. It was very very hot and the AC was locked, so we were sweltering the entire stay. All in all, not a bad choice. Would be fantastic had it not been summer.

The hotel is at a gd location, not far fr the paddington train stn, can reach to hotel fr stn by walk ard 5-7 mins. A lot of resturants nearby. And some buses pass there too. The room is clean and modern, quite new. Provide coffee, tea, chocolate and biscuits in room. The room w a/c but not really cool, open the window better. The hotel without lift, must walk up but the staff can help to carry luggages up to the room if need. Provide drinking water at ground floor, nxt to the reception. If wanna try british townhouse, this hotel is a gd choice.

Clean and nice, but small room. We stayed in the basic room. Room smelled like sewer the whole time we were there. You could also here everything from rooms on the same floor, especially during the night. On our last day cleaning lady had left our rooms door open with all our staff in our room. Staff was quite rude and didn’t take feedback well. How ever the location was great!

Perfect location

Loved our stay at Sonder, staff were all very helpful special mention to the lovely Niko who assisted us with our luggage. Perfect location, easy access to public transport with Paddington station a few minutes walk away and buses close by. Room nice and clean newly renovated. Would definitely stay again thank you
