Very dirty hostel staff very nice 1st room I got I could t stay in it due to being on the top bunk when asking for a bottom bunks got Changed and that room was dirty so didn’t end up staying and got the night bus home

Stay away!

Arrived late, around 11pm, it was raining and I waited in line at least 25 minutes. There was only one person at the check in desk. When I finally made it to the room (triple but was staying alone), there was some sort of noise just outside the window that went on all night long. When I was ready to brush my teeth, it turns out that the sink in the bathroom was clogged. I was super exhausted at this point but still went downstairs to the reception desk. The guy there was nice but totally nice helpful. He was looking for a pliers or a wrench or something so that I could pull the thing that blocks the drain but he couldn't find anything. I was quite fed up and told him that I would just brush my teeth in the shower or something. There was also no outlets near the bed to charge my phone and the hotel itself was decently maintained. I probably paid close to $60 for that one night. Should have added a few more dollars to get something better. Wouldn't recommend.

Worst place ever

The only good thing about this place is Andrea. She made us feel so welcome and great. Other than that it was horrid. We booked a whole private room however since we were only 3 instead of 4 we were shamed and harassed by housekeeping for using the 4th bed in the room. There was staff who just barged into the room without notice and they had the audacity to say it was a miscommunication between us and housekeeping. They gave someone else a key to our “private” room. I woke up to a stranger in our room at 4am trying to go to the bed I was on. The only reason I couldn’t do more is that I was sick. Honestly worst stay I have ever had in London. Will never be staying there again.

Not safe, avoid

Totally let down. We booked for 2 nights, stayed the first night, then while we were out they cleared our stuff into bin bags and allowed other people into the room. When we arrived back after show at the O2, at 1am, they were not helpful and left us with no place to stay! We were 2 women having to find somewhere else in London to stay in the middle of the night. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else

No toiletpaper for 3 days

Pretty awful stay. Not enough communal toilets. No papertowels so you had to bring your own towel to pee. When I arrived there was no toiletpaper and the bathrooms were filthy. Despite informing the staff twice a day, no change, until the day I left. A few homeless people is to be expected at a hostel but when there isn't any cleaning for 3 days the smell can be quite overwhelming. Too few lockers for belongings in the room.

Horrible experience. The staff is rude. They told me i have to check out every day and then check in again later and kept changing my rooms because i “booked that way”. Great blame it on me. It is very very annoying after 15 hours of travel to deal with that. Hostel is clean but i was constantly emotionally anxious that i have to wake up and pack my bag and check out again instead of getting normal sleep. Feel tired even more tired after staying there.

A pleasant stay

Very pleasantly surprised with how lovely this place was. Very convenient location for all the commitments I had in the city during this time, and although they were always very busy dealing with a myriad of queries, the staff were very helpful. Something does need to be tweaked about bed arrangements though. I don't know how it could be rectified, but in my room in particular there were a handful of incidents of allocated beds already being occupied and people being in the wrong beds. I know that this is almost certainly a customer error rather than a hostel error, but I think it may be worth the hostel reviewing their bed allocation protocol because at the moment, it clearly isn't working at its best. Other than that, I had a lovely stay and I would definitely come again - really good value for money.
