You know, this property doesn’t get the best reviews, probably for good reason but for the price, it’s a good location and I have to say the bed and pillows were really comfy. Yes, the cleaning could have been a bit better but overall it wasn’t that bad. I’d likely stay again at this price.

For what we paid it was perfect, don’t expect too much but it was somewhere to sleep and free parking made it easy for us. Would stay again if in the area

Extremely convenient for the North Circular and end of the M1/A1. Very cheap for London hotel prices (£50 for a single room with en-suite). The shower was broken and I could not turn the temperature control on the hand-held shower so the water was scalding. The proprietor came to see to it as soon as I reported it and managed to get a useful temperature. Still not the best having a shower with just the hand-held head. The room was at the back of the building next to the laundry and the walls were very thin. There was an unfortunate odour from the bathroom - a mix of damp and urine - which was unpleasant. Plenty towels, tea/coffee sachets and toiletries provided and the sheets were very clean. Car parking available which is a boon. No plug socket near the kettle but an extension provided which was OK for me on my own. All told, some good, some room for improvement.

The hotels in the area are often converted houses This one is convenient location but I’m sure owners would agree could do with new carpets and keeping on top of repairs Having said that staff were welcoming friendly and helpful

Hotel is close to underground station and many shop and supermarket nearly. But the noise isolation is not good enough and is making me sleep not well. For short trip is ok.

The fire alarm went off twice. No apology or explanation. There was no breakfast. The place was bad really bad. It had the appearance of cheap student accommodation.

Simple overnight accommodation without breakfast.

The Golders Park Hotel is best booked simply as a place in which to sleep overnight during your stay in London, because it does not currently offer anything extra other than a bed for the night. There is no breakfast service available at the present time, for example, despite what it says on the Hotels.com page! That said, it is a comfortable and quiet place to stay despite being a busy area. It is close to the Underground and bus routes. There is a very good Italian restaurant close by that does great Full English Breakfasts!

Keep your money.

Dirty sheets, drill dust on walls and floors, food left in fridge which was placed in front of radiator!, Missing screws on window latches, windows able to move after shutting and poor service. Hotel.com should be ashamed to advertise such rubbish. Paid £200 pound for one night to feel robbed.

This was a place to sleep and store our stuff, and that’s about it.. the room was very hot and in order to cool down we had to leave the bedroom door and windows open. Windows open would have been okay if there weren’t flood lights that turned on all through the night as people walked by. Said people were also right outside the room, being loud until 3-4am most nights. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful (specifically Allan), but others were not. One good thing about this hotel is location - there is a bus stop right outside and several shops within a 10 minute walk.

Scam hotel. I booked a room with private bathroom. Nobody mention on expedia that that private bathroom is outside the room. When I complain staf said ok let me help you and ask for more money or told me to cancel booking which was not tefundable Because i had no choice i paid more money(paid for 3 days same price as king solomon hotel for 4 days). My room: veri unconfortable bed, no wardrobe, no table extremly small(~40cm larger then the bed) window could not close properly, bathroom not sanitised les then 1 m×0,5m. Amneties 10 min walk. If you need to stay in the area get king solomon hotel if posible avoid the area.

I had read in the reviews that the room would be dirty. That didn't bother me, so I booked a room. The cleanliness was better than I expected, but the room was uncomfortably cold in March. I suppose they turned off the heat since it was March, and they only had one electric heater that was being used by another guest. I would like them to have additional electric heaters, or at least additional blankets. They let me use several additional sheets, with which I wrapped myself up like a mummy to sleep. Before that, I had to sleep with a sweater, which I prefer to not do.

We checked in after an 17 hour working day, was shown to my room right at the back of the premises outside. TV didn’t work even though the light on the telly was on, lights on the remote was working so I think the remote was not supposed to be for that TV. Kettle too large to fit under tap for a refill. Noise of running water coming from the radiator in the bathroom. Very disappointed, would not stay here ever again and will not recommend to my co workers.

Hey , I would like to draw your attention to the horrible experience we had at the Golders Park Hotel. First the room we got was terrible. The shower was very dirty. When we arrived we only received one large towel and when we wanted to ask for another one there was no one to ask, most of the time there was no one at the reception to help us. Toilet paper also ran out and there was no one to ask If we saw the cleaner we asked her but there was no room service. The room was not clean, the mattress was very dirty. In addition, on Thursday we returned to the room at night and all our belongings were wet including the bed, there was a leak from the ceiling. The whole floor of the room was full of water and all our clothes got dirty. We came to celebrate a birthday and it was just terrible. I would appreciate it if someone could get back to me.

I was asked to give my ID. I don’t carry my passport or driving licence around if I’m travelling inside the UK. My husband had his driving licence which was rejected as the booking was in my name. I was they told to email it and when I asked what will be done with a copy of my passport, I was told that it will be kept on file for 3 months and it’s hotel policy. I can’t find such policy and I’m not aware of anyone keeping copies of passports in the hotel industry for 3 months. Not a good start. The booking was for 2 people, but there was one hand-towel, one sachet of shower gel and one mug. The milk sachets were off and therefore yea not drinkable. Very noisy room as it’s by the front and one has to keep the window open for the heat. Parking was jam-packed. Luckily it was the weekend so we parked on the street one day and got a ticket on a single yellow on a Sunday the following day. Not a good experience and no value for money

Basic hotel which could be better

WiFi didn't connect at all because it always said it was out of range even though we had a bedroom right by the reception. We tried our phones and two laptops. Very frustrating as we had to work. Shower kept filling up with water after about a minute of using it. Bathroom tap was falling off. Bathroom smelled of damp. It seemed the white paint everywhere was to hide the damp or soiled fittings. The room in general was presented nicely and seemed clean overall. The kettle really needed a clean. Scum floated and stuck to the side of my mug. The blind didn't fully reach to cover the window. Window sill was dirty and window lock was simply a latch that felt like it was going to break. It was quiet on the most part, which was good. It's a no frills hotel with very basic amenities. I would not pay what I paid to stay there again. Receptionist was friendly, but the times I went to the reception to ask something, particularly about the WiFi, there was noone there except for a note and a phone number.
