Friendly staff. Nice area around small pool. Worst fixed breakfast. Charmless rooms. Clean. Economical basic choice. It's OK if you want a low cost basic place to stay while you're out and about.

Gloria's is great. There was a few things that didn't work or took a little to get to be functional, but don't let that overshadow the care and energy that goes into the property, the service, the food and the overall vibe. Gloria is stellar, I had a solid breakfast on my porch in pretty superb weather. It is a little bit of a walk to town but I felt safe and had a great time!

We had a great stay at Gloria's. The staff are wonderful. Comfortable room, great breakfast. Gloria is very helpful with any questions you may have. This is the best value in Livingstone. Highly recommended

Wouldn’t recommend ! They don’t honor bookings!
Pros: property itself is cute. Room are on a smaller side but clean. Hot water . Swimming pool . Quiet. Cons: Keep in mind it’s a small family business where the whole family including kids work there . internet is terrible. 99% of the time it didn’t work. We used ours . TV never worked . It said on a screen time to recharge and it was never recharged . There is no restaurant . It’s just a kitchen and if you want to eat late at night you have to go to town. While I was resting on a pool lounge a heavy metal umbrella stand almost crashed my head . It was held in a floor by a bunch of bricks but it obviously was not enough to hold heavy metal umbrella stand . None of the staff even came up to me and asked if I am ok. I doubt they didn’t hear a very loud crushing noise . Upon check in staff were confused and didn’t know that we even booked the place . We had to wait until they reached Gloria . Next day we talked with Gloria’s daughter and arranged with her 2 more days of stay as all hotels were occupied because of many conferences and the president visit in town. Gloria said she doesn’t have credit card machine and she needs cash only. We only had cash for one day . We said we will pay for second day as soon as we returned from our dinner cruise . We came back around 10 pm only to find out that room was apparently booked 2 weeks ago and we can’t have it . When I went online there were actualy 3 rooms available . Disappointing! Very disorganized!

We are sorry about the umbrella, we use slabs to hold the weight and not bricks, as for the check in Your booking was a last minute booking with the same day arrival, this can happen to any hotel. As for the size, my rooms are reasonable size, i am only a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. I am sorry i know a customer is always right but i don't understand, the calendar might have been open but still when extending your booking direct with me, i told you that we only had one extra night and not 2 or three nights..... i am sorry for the inconvenience.

Gloria and her staff are extremely accomodating. The grounds and the pool are impecable. Breakfast was simple and amazingly served at a choice of where I wanted to be served. The dining room, my room patio or poolside. Gloria checked in twice if we needed anything. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well equipped. I have already recommended it to my family and friends

Gloria’s B&B is a wonderful example of Zambian hospitality. Gloria did everything a host would do and more to make sure I was comfortable and had a great stay. I would highly recommend it. Her price is very reasonable.

Perfect for peaceful stay, lovely host family that made a solo traveler feel at home! Young daughter is charming co-co-hostess! Normal challenges with electricity and wi-fi as are found in multi-star hotels in region. Hosts worked hard to fill the gaps! Look forward to a second stay here in Zambia, easier Chobe trip logistics. Definitely get the 30 day Multiple entry visa at airport on entry. Try to do souvenir shopping in Zambia. For better prices and visit the Livingstone Museum

Great stay, I recommend!
Our stay at Gloria's was great! From the airport pick up, to the breakfast, to the staff. I would recommend without hesitation. Clean, safe, comfortable.

Great stay with character
Gloria was so accommodating and great, from the food to arranging airport transportation. The place is quiet and with character in a residential area of Livingstone, and nice hot showers. The only thing less than stellar was a neighbor must have been burning trash one morning. I would stay again!

Best place to stay in Livingstone
Great stay at Gloria's. Room was a good size. Everything worked great. Close to town. Lovely pool. Great breakfast provided, and could eat inside, by the pool, or at a table outside our room. Gloria and her family are happy to offer advice and book tours. Great staff.

Good place to stay when going to Victoria Falls.
We had a great time here. Gloria was very helpful, and made sure we were comfortable, and gave us advice on how to get where we wanted, and what prices we should expect to pay.

Lovely place
This accommodation was perfect in every way. So close to the airport with free pick up by Alan. It was very close to the town with a short taxi ride. Very clean and everyone very helpful. Have stayed in other places in Livingstone and this is far the best Returning in November

Nice guest house in Zambia.
This is a lovely guest house is the heart of Livingstone. A home cooked breakfast and a pool are nice additions to a stay with Gloria.

Neat guesthouse close to Victoria Falls
Gloria's is a homely guesthouse within a short drive to Victoria Falls. The room was tidy and the breakfast was adequate. The guesthouse provides a free lift to and from the Livingstone airport which is a nice touch. The only issue was with Wi-Fi which was spotty and never reached the room but this may have to do with the generally poor connectivity in Zambia.

Padroni di casa gentilissimi. Ottimo rapporto qualita' prezzo. Camere pulite, colazione buona e preparata con un sorriso. Decisamente da preferire rispetto ad accomodation dieci volte piu' care in resorts extralusso e meno genuini.

Hotel is approximately twenty minute walk to town
The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful and this made for a pleasant stay. This hotel is comfortable and a very good value even with taxi fares to town added.

Good holidays are all about the people
Gloria's B&B is very much 'what you see - is what you get', and that is a good thing. It doesn't pretend to be a 5 star hotel and is priced accordingly, and that is the charm of the place; the staff are very friendly and willing to make anything they can work. We called on Gloria for advice and assistance organizing our day - local knowledge is always best and being able to obtain it cannot always be taken for granted in Africa, or anywhere else. She was extremely helpful, recommending good restaurants/cafes and what taxi prices should be / which to avoid. Her husband handled all transfers in a modern car safely driven. The rooms are dated but kept very clean and everything functions like it should. The swimming pool is a welcome chance to cool down, and breakfast is straight forward but made to work around your schedule; perfect for a busy day seeing the sights. We didn't have bug issues but really appreciated having the mosquito nets anyway for peace of mind. No problems recommending to family & friends, and will happily stay here again - friends stayed at the waterfront and had the opposite experience while paying plenty more!.

Wonderful
We were greeted by friendly staff and showed to our air conditioned room where cold drinks were waiting...the gardens were well kept and the pool was clean and warm. The breakfast was perfect as was the service. The room was very clean and comfortable...everything was spotless, the shower was nice and hot. The location is set 5 minutes out of the main town on a quiet road and its easy to get a taxi to all the local attractions. The hosts Gloria and Alan are very friendly people who made us very welcome. There is a night time guard who is around to open the main gate at all times. I would totally recommend this small friendly hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet relaxing holiday....we will certainly be staying there the next time we visit...

Comfortable and quiet bed and breakfast within walking distance of town. Friendly staff, provided helpful assistance organizing tours. All the tours I wanted to do had a shuttle service with a pick up and drop off service at this bed and breakfast. I enjoyed the pool on hot days.

Out of town Livingstone BnB
Forgot to collect from airport. A taxi offered to take us and get fare from Gloria's then on arrival demanded payment from us. Fortunately Gloria resolved. Reccomend future travellers put in a reminder call or email day or two beforehand. Gloria's is a good walk out of town or 20 kwacha taxi fare. Nice pool and breakfast.

This hotel is dated and a bit basic but it is clean and staff were lovely. Breakfast also basic.

Really nice place to stay
I would highly recommend Gloria's B&B. My 12 year old son and I stayed for 8 nights while we visited Victoria falls and they made us feel very welcome. Our chalet was private, basic but had everything we needed. It was clean when we arrived and cleaned everyday. I spent a couple of lazy days around the pool and it's a short 10 minute walk into town. Most of the taxi's knew the B&B too.While Livingstone it's crazy busy, I was please we weren't in the middle of town. There was a choice of breakfast including a full English and there are a variety of restaurants in town. Gloria and her family where so helpful. I would definitely return and recommend.

Close to airport and town
Be even nicer if neighbours didn't burn rubbish Also check out the Zambezi Cafe...

Great place!
Always great service and so clean and quiet. The best deal for lodging we have found in Livingstone for sure.

Friendly B&B
Cozy and friendly family-run B&B a short walk from Livinstone centre. Undeservedly empty when I visited. Good service with free airport pickup and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Warm pool of good size for such a small place.

pleasant and enjoyable. love the pool!
Clean and comfortable family run B/B. Owner provided good services,especially airport transfers and transportation to Victoria Falls. Junior Allan (son of owner) added lot of fun to our days.

Customer service oriented bed & breakfast
We are a group of 6 booked 3 individual rooms. Because of previous customer reviews and reasonable room rates plus free airport pickup, we booked for 4 nights. Before our arrival, we emailed Gloria's b&b regarding airport pickup. Gloria promptly replied us that Alan will pickup us. Alan was waiting for us at the airport and drove us to the b&b. We were greeted by friendly staff and Gloria at check in. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Gloria helped us to book sunset cruise and safari trips. We were satisfied with the excursions. Instead of getting taxi service, Alan was kind to drive us around town and to the falls for a low minimal charge. A couple days after visits to the falls, we were tired and decided to stay at b&b. Gloria was able to make us sandwiches. We greatly appreciated her consideration.
