"I like this hotel so much I've stayed there twice I love the location (about 7 min walk from the cavern club & about 3 mins from the Beatles statue & the Liver Building), the bed (if I could buy the mattress I would), the staff are always really friendly The only negative is the breakfast, it's tasty but it's £££ "

"I just wanted to share my appreciation to both staff manager and hotels.com colleagues for listening to my request for a bath and due to me going through the worst 2 weeks of my life, tackling landlords and letting agency’s with countless housing incidents and not having support. This upgrade on the suite room really left me so overwhelmed and I cried with happy tears. To feel so supported like that really made my stay so enjoyable. The bath and the room was amazing. The staff were kind and considerate giving the fact I had work in the hospital the next day. The bed was perfect and to top things off the view, iron, ironing board for my uniform and general peace was so much needed. I cannot thank you all enough and I would recommend this hotel to anyone! PS just a little tip get a window cleaner to clean the moss round the edge of the outside interior and maybe a touch of paint! Other than that the hotel is lovely! "

"Check in was simple and we left our luggage pre-stay whilst meeting a friend travelling on a later train. Room was clean and stocked with amenities in bathroom and fresh milk and bottled water in fridge. Overnight the room was quite warm even with heat on low. Windows opened but then a little noisy due to proximity of theatre and train station (both handy for us as we were on a theatre trip). Breakfast was pleasant and tasty. Checkout as easy as check-in. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout the stay. "

"There was a slight issue with a previous guests item in our room upon arrival which was immediately addressed by staff (Alice was amazing!!) and I was offered an upgrade to an amazing suite and a drink on the house. The hotel is beautiful, well situated in the city centre close to everything you need. Overall it was an amazing stay and it’s clear that the hotel cares deeply for ensuring every stay meets their expectation and when it doesn’t, they go above and beyond to rectify that. Thank you again!"
