"The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

The atmosphere was very warm and family-like, especially during dinner, which is available on request and felt more like a shared meal among friends than a restaurant experience. "We loved our stay at this property. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They provided us with a delicious dinner on out first night and waking up to breakfast each morning was such a treat. Everything is home made and fresh! I also had a lovely massage which I would highly recommend. The pool area is relaxing and picturesque, while our gite had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope we can come backa again soon, "

"We found this gem on our way south and so glad we stayed. The couple who hosted us were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast was wonderful. The view from the pool was incredible. It is a quiet town so there’s not much around but the city of Sarlat was wonderful. Sunday market is a must! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel,the staff were very friendly especially Eric who was in charge of the breakfast which was very good, it’s in a great location and is in walking distance of shopping areas and some very good restaurants which were recommended by the hotel, there’s a very atmospheric square where we enjoyed a drink after dinner and listened to some live music "
